OK, pick the guy that you would prefer over him. Whether you agree or disagree with this, if not Kap, I would prefer to go with Reed or Quinn over any of the others that they are considering.
None of them will help this year. Let’s be real. Colt goes down and the season is over. No QB is going to come in here with Less than half a season remaining and be able to run anything more than a basic offense. And that is after 2-3 weeks of conditioning, learning terminology, etc. rushing to sign a bad qb, any bad qb, is pointless. Any NFL defense will crush a basic offense.

Fact is Favre or Peyton are better than everyone of them except Kap, the reason anyone wouldn't want Kap is because of misguided positions on why he takes a knee. Reasonable people looking at that list of possibilities, were it not for the whole kneeling thing, would want to scoop him up, but I doubt that he would be on the list at all if not for that.

The answer to the Colt question is...Uh No!

Favre and Peyton are both better options than Kap. All options suck.

I do think Peyton could come in and succeed and Romo was an interesting thought.

Your message gets clouded,or more likely exposed, when you wear pig socks

Before we all board the Colin Kaepernick bandwagon...there is a 99.9 percent chance he's got some thoughts about the logo he'd be wearing at that introductory presser. Maybe not the ideal fit for his return.

He's better than our current starter and better than more than 90% of the current back-ups in the league.

Based on what facts and data? Everybody had his number the last time he played years ago. That's why his suckage factor was so high.

I don't know about those two, but if I were Dan Snyder, I would see if Tony Romo still has an itch that needed to be scratched. Out of football shape and rusty, but healthy, and could win games handing off to AP and using his mind. It'll never happen, but I actually think he would listen if he were called.

I would freaking love this. Romo is so damn underrated (although who knows what he can really do now but still).

You do realize Kaep is a really bad quarterback... like really bad

He was benched for Gabbert
He’s 3-13 over his last 16 starts.

True story there are rookie 1st round qbs who didn’t have leashes that long during their first contracts

He’s also 30+

Hes not good. Hes also way better than everybody were looking at bringing in and better than mccoy.

W-L record is a bad measure of his ability. Go look at his stats and the weapons he had last time he played.

Yea i dont really think there's any chance it happens. Maybe he doesn't wanna play here. Maybe hed only sign if hes the starter. Maybe he wants a ton of money. I have no idea.

My only beef is with people saying "dont sign him cuz he sucks". We're bringing in mark Sanchez and ej freakin manuel. They are miles worse.

I'll give you 5 excellent reasons why this must be done now.

1. Sam Bradford

2. Paxton Lynch

3. Matt Moore

4. Ryan Mallet

5. He's better than Colt already, rust or not!

Kaepernick has already said that he would never play for Washington and their racist team name.

And by “has already said,” I mean “has probably told himself.”

It's not that he's all that. It's that hes easily better than all the other available options.

Tony had his ups and downs, but his last couple of seasons he was a top 5 guy. I think he probably believes if he had started over Dak at the end of their 13-3 with Zeke, Written, Dez and a great OL, they might have made the SB. He would be rusty, but no more so than Kaep would be, but Romo was twice the player and would pick up the playbook ten times faster

It’s all about whether he would even play. Here and the circus that comes with it

I would prefer you to backup Colt, Sty. I don't like any of them.

WRONG

he is not better than Mccoy he is not better than anyone the skins are looking at. Is Blaine Gabbert available? He was in fact better than Kaep when Kaep was benched for him and he has played in league more recently....

Akili Smith out of the league in 4 years. He was top 10 pick who compiled a 3-14 record
Cade McNown out of the league in 2 years. He was a top 15 pick who compiled a 3-12 record
Ryan Leaf out of the league in 3 years. He was #2 overall pick who compiled a 4-17 record
Jamarcus Russell out of the league in 3 years. He was the #1 overall pick who compiled a 7-18 record

Kaepernick was 3-13 over his last 16 games and is now over 30.... you are telling me that he has a longer leash than top 15 picks in their early 20s?

Kaepernick is a known commodity.... that he sucks

But you are going to SJW regardless so...

Haha i feel like we're obligated to hate certain players but i can't help but like some of them. Romo gets so much undeserved crap and imo is easily the best nfc east qb of the 21st century.

And obj and saquon might be my 2 favorite players in the league. Oops lol.

Screw the eagles though.

And fwiw i while i disagree hes too much of a headache i at least think it's a defensible opinion. Its just the "he sucks so much we should look at ej Manuel instead argument that holds no weight.

How about the argument that he sucks enough that he is not worth the shit storm that follows him? Especially in this mad house we call The Washington Redskins?

Also...are you saying that we determine QB rankings by W-L record because LOL

I disagree with it but like i said to gk its more defensible.

Several people however have gone with the bold strategy of straight up arguing hes worse on the field than the other options. Those people are telling on themselves.
