Seriously, though... the drop off of physical skills is pretty sharp. Muscle memory goes away so much faster for goalies. Your brain knows what to do, but your body just can't. It sucks.

I can't blame them.

I always assumed that a big part of the difference was not just how the body betrays you but that when my body betrays me as a forward nowadays it still usually doesn't result in the opposition doing Fortnite dances.
