Rest of the NFC East:
How old is Jerry and what are the succession plans when he passes? Does he have family that will take over?
I'm really beginning to wonder if he hasn't lost his fire and is just wanting to enjoy his final years surrounded by people that he likes, not necessarily people that are going to win.
I would disagree with him. They need to create a GM position and hire a GM. Let that GM hire the coach he wants to. Personnel-wise, they are not in horrible shape. The defense can be pretty good almost immediately. They still have an average O-line. They have a good RB and Prescott isn't Bortles bad. Garrett and Jones are the week links.

Rest of the NFC East:
His son Stephen has already begun to take over. And sadly, he is more competent. He was reportedly the one that persuaded his dad to draft Zach Martin over Johnny Manziel for example. Man, Manziel on the Cowboys would have been so freaking great.
Remember those Wentz/Prescott threads????
Good times.....
Troy is right.
Dak at the halfway mark:
62.9% completion percentage, 1,660 yards, 10 TDs 5 INTs, 88.9 QB rating
Wentz (missed first two games):
70.7% completion percentage, 1,788 yards, 13 TDs, 2 INTs, 109.6 QB rating
Neither is playing horribly, but one is clearly better.
They need to drop Garrett and hire a real GM. I think Dak still has potential.Dak is like a modern day Mark Brunell at QB. Not terrible, just not good.
