“Dak is the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. He’s young and he’s going to get extended."

Remember those Wentz/Prescott threads????

Good times.....

Yes, I do. Good times indeed, good times indeed...

Dak at the halfway mark:

62.9% completion percentage, 1,660 yards, 10 TDs 5 INTs, 88.9 QB rating

Wentz (missed first two games):

70.7% completion percentage, 1,788 yards, 13 TDs, 2 INTs, 109.6 QB rating

Neither is playing horribly, but one is clearly better.
Let's take a look at this year's stats. Surprisingly Wentz is the one who has played an extra game so far. Imagine that???

Wentz 4 games: comp 60%; 963 yards; 6.6 YPA; 9 TDs; 2 Ints; 95.3 Rating
Dak 3 games: comp 75%; 920 yards; 9.8 YPA; 9 TDs; 2 Ints; 128.0 Rating

I think we can all agree that neither is playing horribly, but one is clearly better :thumb:

How old is Jerry and what are the succession plans when he passes? Does he have family that will take over?

I'm really beginning to wonder if he hasn't lost his fire and is just wanting to enjoy his final years surrounded by people that he likes, not necessarily people that are going to win.

Hopefully the Jones family has a succession plan drawn up...when the Falcons original owner, Rankin Smith passed...the inheritance tax put the kids in a big financial bind...selling the team was the way out...in comes Arthur Blank to the rescue. He stroked the big check for them.

Just wait until you guys go up against the vaunted Packers defense....

Dak is like a modern day Mark Brunell at QB. Not terrible, just not good.

That's not a bad analogy, but I would say he's more like Alex Smith like...probably won't win the game for ya, but probably won't lose it either.

Obviously Wentz isn't an MVP type QB.

Zeke might run for 300 yards.
:hope::hope::hope:

The way things seem to work for Dallas we are all going to expect that and the Packers will probably shut him down completely. Problem against GB for Dallas is Rodgers just kills us with the game on the line. And FU too Mason Crosby

The Dak situation is going great as far as I am concerned. We signed Wentz to a long term deal. Now Dak wants way more, and he is off to a strong early start, so Jerrah will be pressured to give him a giant contract.

Then...he will go back to being Mark Brunell with a paint job. What's not to like?

Rogers killed it last night....(I know, not his fault.)
