Looks like we could see a lot of new blood in the P5 conference championship games. Teams that have literally never made it before.
ACC:
Pittsburgh and Virginia have good shots at making it.
BIG TEN:
Michigan and Northwestern both are favorites to make it and both never have.
BIG 12:
West Virginia is looking likely and Iowa State even has a shot.
PAC-12:
Washington State and Utah both are favorites/or very possible to make it.
SEC:
This one is already set and won't have any new teams...but even here Kentucky fell one game short of making it for the first time.
I'm sure many of these teams will fall short but it looks very possible to have a lot of first-time teams in the P5 title games.
