Re-read my post, old man...Even if they lose their CCG? I believe that would be a first. Has any team made the CFP after losing their CCG?

I think we're having the same conversation in two threads. If ND, michigan/OSU, and Clemson win out, I don't know how Bama makes it as a 1-loss non conference champ. If LSU beats Bama and makes it to the SECCG, it's the same situation all over again as last year. SEC champ probably gets in along with Bama.

Yeah I know. Back in 2014, we were 16th in the first playoff rankings. Funny how things work, yeah? What a time to be alive!
9. Kentucky
10. Ohio State

Kind of like in 2014 when ND was 6 spots ahead of us in the first playoff rankings and finished the year unranked.Stoops gettin those OSU leftovers and being ahead of Urbs and OSU is pretty funny.

I'm not saying OU is definitely better than either one. OU and Georgia really don't have enough quality wins at this point IMHO. Michigan's (Sparty, Wisky, Nerdwestern) may not be as good as I think either. Hard to get a read on those three! If OU played Michigan, the line would be pretty close. Maybe Michigan by 3?
If OU played Georgia, Georgia would be a favorite by probably 6 points
I'm not saying OU is a bad team, I think they are ranked where they should be ranked and are definitely a threat to make the playoff, but I can't put them ahead of Georgia or Michigan yet. Mainly it's because of that game against Army. Army took OU to OT and needed 2 OTs to beat Miami-Ohio. I mean, it's a bad game on their resume. Michigan's only bad game is against a playoff team right now.
My bad.... sometimes my readin' is about like my vocabulation...not too swift.Re-read my post, old man...

Hot Take! Why is that?
Are you suggesting that a team who got blown out by an average Purdue team is going to have a chance at a national title?Yeah I know. Back in 2014, we were 16th in the first playoff rankings. Funny how things work, yeah?

And for all we know, Kentucky sucks and we're the national champs.Yeah we sucked that year. But that doesn't change you guys are behind Kentucky right now.
Well in 2014 we got blown out by an average VT team, and that was even at home. Are you suggesting that a team who got blown out by an average Purdue team is going to have a chance at a national title?

He's a lifelong gumper just like 4d20Only way "you'll" be national champs is if you start rooting for Bama.
