I would take Iowa State over UK straight up
As would I, as far as WVU I'm not surprised, we haven't beaten a good team all year. now, that said if/when we DO start beating these teams in November then we by God better be jumping some teams.

Not that I'd seriously pick anyone to beat Bama, but Clemson might have the best shot on a neutral field with their front 7 and passing attack to go with a Heisman finalist contender running the ball.

Clemson will be tough because they can get pressure with their
front four. They can slow Tua down.

But Clemson will have to move the ball and control the clock. Even
though the Lawrence kid will have played all season...if they meet
Bama that will be a mighty big stage for that kid.

Hot Take! Why is that?

In their loss vs Iowa - they held the Hawkeyes to less points than anybody else. Iowa scored more vs Wisconsin and Penn State.

In their loss vs OU - Only Army held the Sooners to less points.

They held WVU to 14 points - WVU's next lowest scoring game is 36 vs K-State.

In freshman QB Purdy's first game, he outshot Okie State in Stillwater.

Yeah i don't think ISU loses again this year. Imo they'll be playing OU for the B12 title

Playing LSU at night against a talented and ultra motivated LSU team in Baton Rouge might be tricky, but even if LSU's dbacks stimy Tua's passing game a bit, I think Bama could run all over them

LSU may have the athletes to compete with Bama but, they do not have enough offense or QB play. They will throw some picks to the Bama D and that will make the difference. This game is nothing but, a resume builder to Bama to get a quality win under their belt.

Yeah but UK might not score more than 9. That offense is butt.
Agreed. That defense might be something to fear, but that offense it NOT. Might have been early in the season, but not anymore.

Yeah they have fallen off a cliff entirely. 30 offensive points in the last 3 games. If they want to even remotely stay in the game against UGA Saturday, they'd have better come up with some kind of gameplan.

OU has a worst loss than Michigan or Georgia. No way OU is ranked over those two.

I did not say ranked, I said BETTER.

If you want to go with ranked. Georgia getting manhandled by a team with no offense is worse IMO.

I honestly don't think there is an option for Kentucky to stay in the game against Georgia. Georgia, coming off of a great win against Florida? Theres no way they let up now. Plus, this is the last game not at home of the season. They close it out on 3 straight home games.

Georgia's loss is to the #3 team in the country. Michigan's loss is to the #4 team in the country. Oklahoma's loss is to the #15 team in the country AND they were taken to OT by Army. Sorry, I can't say OU is better than Michigan or Georgia right now.

Saturday is essentially their ticket to the CCG. If they win, they're in. I don't see how they lose to Auburn, and then they get UMass and GT.

If OU played either on a neutral field, what do you think the Vegas line would be?

If LSU beats Bama and makes it to the SECCG, it's the same situation all over again as last year. SEC champ probably gets in along with Bama.

Even if they lose their CCG? I believe that would be a first. Has any team made the CFP after losing their CCG?

If OU played Michigan, the line would be pretty close. Maybe Michigan by 3?
If OU played Georgia, Georgia would be a favorite by probably 6 points

I'm not saying OU is a bad team, I think they are ranked where they should be ranked and are definitely a threat to make the playoff, but I can't put them ahead of Georgia or Michigan yet. Mainly it's because of that game against Army. Army took OU to OT and needed 2 OTs to beat Miami-Ohio. I mean, it's a bad game on their resume. Michigan's only bad game is against a playoff team right now.
