No More "Bullpen Failure" - maybe
My estimated time of arrival for these pitchers to come up to stay in the big leagues. This doesn't include temporarily filling in for a handful of starts or for just 2 or 3 starts in September.
Mendez-----Early 2019
Hernandez---Late 2019
Hearn-------Late 2019
Palumbo-----Mid 2020
Crouse------Late 2020
Bahr--------Early 2021
Phillips---.--Early 2021
Alexy----.--Early 2021
Cody---------Mid 2021
Ragans-----Early 2022
White-------Early 2022
Englert------Early 2022
Winn--------Early 2022
If the pitcher we pick at #8 next June is a college pitcher then he could be here to start the 2022 season. If he is a HS pitcher then he probably doesn't make it up here until mid 2023.
Probably between 2 and 4 of those guys will have an injury that sidelines them for a year or longer.
