Yes....the homer in me is strong I don't deny it just like the troll in you is strong. I was talking to a Cowboys fan that was talking shit and his has lost every playoff game they have been in this decade and has a playoff record of 1-8 since the last won a Superbowl. I am sure he will make sure we remember they have 5 of them.

However, you responded to me that the Eagles know about winning. Again if you're measuring your success against the Cowboys for the past decade you may be right. If you measuring it against true winners... well not so much.

Keep Homering little one

No, it was actually proven for the second PED violation. No idea for the first one. And quite often you can see a difference in PED levels traced between actually juicing (or most likely juicing) and it being contamination ingested by accident/coincidental to legal medicine use. Something that has come up in other sports (cycling, track and field, swimming) which have a much longer and more extensive track record of going after PED use.

BTW, the bolded simply is not true (though most claim innocence).

This sounds like the Steeler argument that steroids weren't illegal until they were.

Those were the good old days weren't they? You could just walk right into 7-11 and pick your choice of roid:doh:

Lame used and admitted to using a band substance who cares if it's no longer banned.

Yeah... sort of doesn’t make sense but once we get past the HGH that they all use (Look at the size of Peyton Manning’s head as a college senior compared to now) he hasn’t cheated a 2nd time I’m years. :) :)

Those "supplements" were for his wife damn it.

As a fan of the team that got destroyed by Philly in last season's NFC championship game, thus costing us a home Superbowl appearance in our 2nd most successful season in franchise history - I really don't understand all the saltiness towards Philly ITT. Let them have their moment in the sun before we write them off as destined to suck for the foreseeable future. At least they're not like Seahawks fans where 90% of their internet fan base presence appeared out of thin air in 2012 and then vanished like a fart in the wind by 2016.

For me, it's simple. I don't like losing. As far as the non-NE fans? Who needs a reason?
The Eagles "dynasty" is good enough for most.....

Oh, I'm ready for them. There's no easier team to troll than bringing up passing on 2nd and goal in the SB against the Pats instead of handing it to Lynch. They would have been able to troll me harder with Blair Walsh, but yeah... we all know what happened there lol.

Maybe Lane sucks this year because he's not having as much fun? :noidea:

More likely it's because he can't take banned substances.

Actually - according to people regularly looking at O-line tape - he has been pretty good this season. One time beaten quite badly though.

For one, Lane is basically playing on an island most of the game (line fairly consistently slides away from him) which means rushers have gaps on the inside and outside to use. This means that he cannot preset towards steering the DE/edge rusher inside or outside for most of the game, but has to react to what the rusher is doing. Nor can he preset to defend a bull rush. He is apparently more on an island than just about every tackle in the game.

The one where he got beaten for the strip-sack - ironically - was when the line was supposed to slide towards him (Brooks was supposed to fill up the inside gap), which remained open when Brooks got occupied/stone-walled by the DT.

The Indianapolis game O-line problems were mostly a product of massive and consistent holding by the D-line (Indianapolis finally got called for it late in the game); something the Eagles were pointing out to the refs from the 1st quarter onwards. BTW, that was the opinion of Geoff Schwartz having looked at the game tape.
This part doesn't make sense. I get your point, but a Tackle always has to react to what the rusher is doing and if he ever "presets to defend a bull rush" he is going to get beat like a drum when the DE runs right around him to the outside or gives him a fake or spin move. I don't buy any of that as an excuse for Johnson. He is very athletic and when playing well should be able to slide and react as well as any Tackle in the game. Right now he isn't.

The first 3 going aren’t even playing and will save us 30 million, the 4th is a backup that will save us another 5
Not right now, but if you somehow make the playoffs you'll need Foles:heh:

I guess this could be why he is playing so poorly (for him)

Lane Johnson - T - Eagles
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports it will be "difficult" for Lane Johnson (ankle, questionable) to play Thursday night against the Giants.

Johnson was added to the injury report Thursday morning after a lingering high-ankle sprain flared up. Rapoport said Johnson will "do everything he can and test it pre-game," but it is likely he ends up sitting out Thursday's game. Halapoulivaati Vaitai will get the start at right tackle if Johnson cannot play.

Why wouldn't they start future stud LT Jordan Mailata???

The reality is to me it is nothing more than shit talk. I really don't give a fuck about what happened 10 years ago. Just giving a Cowboys fan shit like he gives us shit. Manster is ok in my book he gives as good as he gets. It is all in fun. To be honest the Eagles were not really all that impressive until last year....better than Dallas? yes.....but they were not all that impressive either. The Eagles had talent and were up and coming. They were just as much lucky as good last year. To be honest you have to have luck as well as talent in order to win.....You of all fan bases should know that.

I hope so. WOuld be funny to see Philly get slapped with a fine or penalty for having an inured player that wasn't listed.

In reality he probably got hurt in practice since it just now showed on the report.

Jordan is not ready yet. He hasn’t played football ball very long. He could suck but his athletic ability is off the charts
