Yeah. It's a situation where both things can be true. There are no winners. But its silly seeing some people who hate Conor so bad they are giving a Khabib a total pass. The dude literally started a brawl in the stands. Sure, he's going after one of Conor's camp, but if a media person or fan actually got hurt in the crossfire, everyone involved (UFC/Khabib/the fight commission) would have been FUCKED big time

Not only that, but from what I heard yesterday, Khabib may be stripped of his title over this.

I saw some of the stuff McGregor and his team were saying before the fight and there was a good bit of it that was over the top. But Khabib had already handled it the best way possible, by beating McGregor's ass.

Possibly costing himself his title because he couldn't let that stand on it's own was just stupid.

Joe Flacco was 17-2 against the Browns going into today.

It was a defensive battle- but Baker Mayfield threw for almost 350 yards against a very good defense.

I am telling you guys- this kid is special. He will easily be a top 10 QB someday and he has the upside to be top 5.

He is unfazed. The last 2 years combined the Browns won 1 game.

They have 2 wins and Baker has played in 3 games- and the other game was practically won until a questionable call by the refs.

By far the biggest reason is Baker Mayfield. You just dont see a rookie QB throw the ball with that type of accuracy and confidence. His footwork honestly reminds me of Brees with how he gets himself in position to throw the ball.

The Browns came back in 1999. This is the very first time I have felt they have a true franchise QB.

He definitely looks to be the real deal and he's making some folks who criticized the Browns for taking him look pretty dumb.

But let's pump the brakes a little bit. There still isn't much of a "book" on him yet. The real test will come when he starts seeing teams a second time and when there is more info re: his tendencies, etc. That's when we'll see how well he can adjust.

Having said that, early returns are definitely favorable and he looks to be the best qb you guys have had in at least a decade.

I think his ceiling is probably Russell Wilson which would be great for the Browns, especially if, unlike my Seahawks, the Browns have a quality o-line.

"the Browns have a quality o-line"

They have surpassed any expectations I had through 5 games for them. But this season has me worried. Could the Browns turning things around be a sign of the apocalypse?

he definitely is not the athlete that Wilson is and never will be- but as a passer he has the tools to be better than wilson thats for sure.

Agree. The one thing that helps Wilson as a passer that could really put Mayfield over the top is that, when Wilson runs, he's not really looking to gain yards with his legs. That's the last resort for him. He runs to open passing lanes and give his receivers time (part of why he's able to make some of the crazy plays that he does).

If Mayfield masters that, he won't need to be as good an athlete as Wilson and will definitely be a better overall passer.

Suns fired Ryan McDonough. Kinda surprised by that.

Why did the Suns fire their GM? And why does Vlade still have his job?

the ridiculous thing is- that if not for a penalty here or there and a missed kick here or there- the Cleveland Browns would be 5-0......i know a lot of teams can say similar things- but to say that for the Browns is hilarious

literally-

the tie against Pittsburgh the guy missed the kick at the end of regulation

against New Orleans the kicker missed 4 kicks and was then cut

against the Raiderse the game was over until the refs challenged the spot of the ball for a first down and reversed it which basically never happens.

The 1st game of the year didn't the kicker get a FG attempt blocked that could have won the game? And the 2nd game against the Saints he missed 2 FG's & 2 PAT's in a 3 point loss, like you mentioned.

But I have to say this is the 1st time in many years I have a little optimism about the team. I'm not saying playoffs or anything. But they actually seem to be going in the right direction. I just hope they keep improving throughout the year.

Oh yeah. I'll find out in a few weeks if I'm gonna go to the Browns/Broncos game on 12/15.

Just saw the news this morning. Fuckin hilarious. He gets the #1 pick and doesn’t fuck it up (we were all scared to death he’d fuck it up.) then they still fire him basically a week before the season.

Honestly this should’ve been done probably last season. He has screwed up so many trades, draft picks and coaching hires. Earl Watson might have been the worst coach in league history. Remember he got fired 2 games into the season last season with back to back 40 point losses.

Dejounte Murray was the secret weapon I have been preaching all summer.

This dude was set to have his breakout all-NBA season, after finally getting recognized as all-NBA defense.

He was the best player on the spurs roster (including DeRozan and Aldridge).

He just needed to have that breakout moment and season.

This really sucks.

Maybe Ginobili will have to come out of retirement by need now....both starting guards are done now.

What I don’t understand is if you planned on firing him all along why did you trust him to make the most important draft pick in franchise history a few months ago? Unless they fired him based on summer league and preseason performance which would also be hilarious.

yeah, tough luck against the Rams yesterday. was hoping the Hawks would win so BSPN would pump the brakes on them for a minute. they already have the Rams penciled into the Super Bowl...
