I'd even be willing to roll with Walt Weiss. Snit was the right man for the job in 2016 in the heat of the rebuild, and this year wasn't expected, so I get him still being here this year, but when we're expected to contend, we need to get a real manager.

Again, the only thing I don't like about Coppy is the fact that he got caught. Hopefully this rebuild pays off though, because the next one is gonna be a lot tougher with our international players sanctions about to set in.

And with Snit having nearly 45 years with the organization, I'd hate to fire him. I'd just like for he and Ron Washington to swap roles. I had no issue with Snit as a third base coach.

This game sucks, don't get me wrong, but there is a few positive things to take from it.

Mainly, Newcomb didn't melt down on the big stage, and Fried looked good too. I'm all for trading Newk in the offseason, and Fried is a candidate to take his spot in the rotation. Kind of wish Kyle Wright was on the postseason roster though.
