I watched a game where the damned 2nd base up bird dogged an illegal slide, never even bothered to call it until "New York" said so, then after 3 minutes on the headset, they overturned it. The 1st base up was looking right at it too and didn't bother to call it until New York concluded that an illlegal slide occurred. The umps can bullshit us if they want but they don't give a shit.
