I didn't say that.

I was on record saying Dipo would flourish in Indy. Granted, I didn't think he would be this good, but he got jerked around big time in Orlando and for horribly with Russ.

So I guess I was right? You are horribly overestimating Wiggins?

I said they should deal him, so idk why you’re trying to throw that on me.

Second, I’m talking about the teams. Minny chose to keep Wiggins over trying to deal him. I said that was a mistake then.

Minny had more perceived pieces at the time. They screwed it up.

I would bet Butler and Leonard end up with the Clippers at this point.

They absolutely could have and perhaps should have tried to deal him.

He would not have been the center piece of a Paul George trade though. That is why I said your Minnesota contender talk was far fetched. Because it is unrealistic to think they could have had George, Butler, Townes and Lowry. $wise, sure. Just would not ever go down like that.

We still haven’t even gotten into how Thibs somehow didn’t draft Og, a guy fit thibs as much as prospect could’ve...I wonder if the minny med staff was the cause of that

Should the Bucks do Middleton and parts for Butler?

Marquette Country.

But, would Butler stay?

Would Middleton pick up his 13 mil player option?

I still say 76ers.

But, the Bucks are interesting.

I don't.

If both of them move to the Clippers they'll still be in the shadow of the Lakers and Lebron.

If they move to NY on either the Knicks or Nets they'll be able to get a shit team out of the trenches and back in to playoff contention and still be in a big market.

Shadow, yes.

The Clippers with Paul and Blake were in the shadow.

But, they were still better.

Getting both those guys would likely present the same result.

For whatever reason, and I don't get it, these guys don't want to play with Lebron.

They'd much rather play against him.

It's bizarre. But, clearly true.

Jimmy Butler latest to shun LeBron James; so why don't NBA stars want to play with the King anymore?

it seems like it, from watching LeBron and Kyrie- and the Cavs almost getting Jimmy Butler before Griffin left--- that guys realize when they play with LEBron they get all the blame and none of the credit and LeBron is a little condescending to them. Its not a "partnership" with LeBron for other high level players- and it seems thats what these guys want- are partners- not overlords.

OK, so Kyrie doesn't want to play with LeBron, it's a one-off. George has such little interest in playing with LeBron that he doesn't even give the Lakers a meeting, it's circumstantial. But then Leonard comes along and hints that he also might not like the idea of playing with LeBron, and now we've got a pattern. Then, on Wednesday, after news broke that Butler had demanded his trade from Minnesota, it was reported that Butler didn't list the Lakers as one of his preferred destinations because, you guessed it, he doesn't like the idea of playing with LeBron. From ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski:

Butler had once imagined playing for the Lakers, but LeBron James' arrival as the franchise's cornerstone made it less appealing for Butler in the prime of his career, league sources said.

What's that old saying about where there's smoke there's fire? Well, I think it's safe to say we have at least a little blaze burning here. Playing alongside LeBron doesn't appear to have quite the same appeal these days. It's important to point out that this is not, in any way, a suggestion that LeBron somehow isn't a good teammate. That likely has absolutely nothing to do with this.

like the article says- thats now Kyrie, Butler, Kawhi, George, who all seem like they could have ended up LEBron, but all 4 of them seem to not want to play with him.

Thats pretty crazy considering LeBron is still likely by far the best player in the league.

like i said in my above post- these guys want to play with "partners" and not an "overlord" like LEBron.

Or maybe George and Kawhi don't want to play with Lebron because they literally play the SAME POSITION as Lebron

I mean....

Let's keep it real though....

Lebron pretty much did all he could in those last 2 Finals appearances.

I mean, he legit could have been a Finals MVP on the losing Team.

He wasn't the problem.

I don't hold him blameless in his rift with Kyrie.

But, Kyrie wanted to be the man on a team where he wasn't the best player.

I agree Lebron and his cryptic tweets, subtweets were trollish and he totally son'd Kyrie by referring to him as " The Kid".

But, has anyone ever said he was a bad Teammate?

I'm sure he's a dick, all great players are though...lol

Harsh.

But, somewhat accurate.

I don't know if they smell blood in the water, even though he has shown no sign of decline.

But, if the rumors are true, they want to challenge him, not win as a bit part in the LAbron melodrama.

Honestly, I think it's weird.

Butler picked his list of destinations based on getting a max deal and getting to pick his running mate.

Why wouldn't you want to play with the best player in the NBA, in the same city as your alleged first choice, while still getting your max deal?

This is what makes me think it's personal, not business.

See, I agree and have said similar before...

Everyone responds with that positionless basketball rant...

I can't remember who it was, may have been multiple folks....

But, they had the Lakers lineup at Lebron at PF, Ingram at SF and George at SG...lol

I think Jimmy is a 3.

But, he can lock down sg's just as easily.

I guess George could too.
