I was pretty damn close. 20 27my prediction ASU 27 UW 34
You guys have a hell of a team. Goodluck from here on out.Go Sun Devils!!!
2). Take a couple knees to let the clock run out?
Sound good?
That play had flashbacks of UW @ Arizona in Petersen's first year at Washington. In stead of having QB take a knee, he called a hand off to the RB who fumbled and three plays later Zona was in the end zone.I got a question.
Your a coach and your team has a 3 point lead with less than 2 min left in a game. You even have the ball at mid-field with a couple downs left. Odds are currently at 99% that your going to win the game. Do you?
1). Order a run play and have an undersized RB run into a dog pile of players who train constantly to strip the ball in those circumstances?
2). Take a couple knees to let the clock run out?
Just asking for a friend.
Yeah, I brought that up in the game thread and UW fans squarely put the blame for that loss on Petersen, not the refs like OD. Their coaching staff wears that loss 100%. Well, maybe 90% as that center that fucked up and handed Stanford a free 6 points gets a piece of that pie. That play had flashbacks of UW @ Arizona in Petersen's first year at Washington. What pissed me off was in the after game presser Petersen said he'd run that same play if he had to do it all over again. If the QB had taken a knee a few times it would have been game over.Yeah, I brought that up in the game thread and UW fans squarely put the blame for that loss on Petersen, not the refs like OD. He showed last night that he's learned. They executed the clock kill perfectly. Text book. They needed to burn off extra seconds and did so without taking risks. What pissed me off was in the after game presser Petersen said he'd run that same play if he had to do it all over again. I don't know - your brethren over in Eugene did a pretty good job of it.at least we at state know how to lose a game.
So inexcusable.
Just got off the phone with my folks, my 75yo mother had a kid push her down and another threw a beer at my pops. Stay classy Oregon. So inexcusable.
That guy looks like a cuck.
