No no you don't get it. It's only racist if you want to kill or enslave black people. If you just hate them and want them to be held down by society thats ok.

Oh and you can't be racist unless you say the n word on tape and admit publicly it wasn't a joke. I think there may also be some kind of written documentation needed.

/ end sarcasm.

gee i must have missed the meeting where us white folk have plotted to keep people of color down in the year 2018 .

Do you really not think there is racism in this country towards black people?

Individually...yes.

Societally...no.

Governmentally...hell no.

Do you really not see racism towards whites is actually being promoted at all three levels?

of course there is , but i doubt that 61 million are , maybe 30,000 tops , certainly not enough to make a difference in a political sense

but here is a solution . there are several ways people of color can get a fairer shake

1) stop electing the same assholes in office every time and expect things will change most major american cities have been controlled by the same party for 40, 50 60 even 70 years . what has it got you . same poverty , same crime , same poor schools and same poor govt .

2) stop electing racists to positions of power . cops arrest , prosecutors prosecute and judges sentence . you all elect sheriffs , mayors , judges and DA's all at the local level and you get racist outcomes yet you dont change who you freaking vote for

3) support the convention of states to enforce term limits on federally elected officials . again decade after decade you elect the same people who screw you every time and are beholden to donors and not the people . congress isnt going to pass it so get on board and work to get it passed in your state

4) keep informed at the local level and freaking vote if you dont vote at the local level then your voice isnt heard but Mr racist is . participation here is where real change is going to happen .

some of you complain how i moderate the board ,but here in my hometown my voice is heard . i am at the meetings i am there when they vote on things ,
. imagine if you had to go by what i think in your hometown ?

. well if you let someone take your voice when you dont vote when you dont participate then all you have is excuses as to why things are the way they are and no one to blame but yourself

so if racism is a huge issue to you then i think its enough for you to participate and make changes instead of just flapping your gums . kneeling for the flag is fine and dandy . most people got the message 2 years ago but lets follow it up with something real and that starts at the local level

5) for me i can do all of the above plus raise my kids to treat everyone with dignity and respect

6) do the 3 major things that keep you out of poverty stay in school , dont have children before the age of 21 and dont marry before 21

7) encourage all races to have 2 parent homes most trouble comes from not having that , broken homes

8) lastly , just because people disagree with you politically doesnt make them racist . people have differences on the economy , global warming , size of govt immigration abortion and being called a racist because you differ in a point of view is BS and quite frankly tiring . there is no way to reach common ground if we resort to that

now that is my take

Affirmative action exists BECAUSE of all the racism towards minorities. Now you may not agree with it, but its at least attempting to solve a very real problem.

And yes white privilege is a thing. Doesnt mean every good thing that happens to white people is because of privilege. But i think its pretty clearly a thing.

Where are you getting that 30000 from? Why is that the magic number?

Stop electing racists?? This coming from a Trump supporter?

Who the hell are "you all"?

And when was the last time you changed who you were voting for and voted blue?

Many of the athletes kneeling have been very active actually. Maybe you should look into that.

I don't think anybodys racist for having a different view. I think people are racist when they have racist views.

Thats a hell of a lot of effort put into making yourself feel better about racism.

30,000 is the magic number because this is the estimated number of MS-13 in the country. So the logic has to be that there are less racists, white nationalists than there are Animal MS-13. Because if even half of those that lean towards the white nationalist mantra are in fact racist, well that would be about 1000 times more than the number of MS-13 and per King Donald, they are our greatest threat after all.

i figure you would go and miss the point . first off just because you are a trump supporter , it doesnt make you racist if you believe that then you cant be reached

you all is the people being the target of racism

kneeling is great but if you dont do what i said above it doesnt matter

if you think i wrote that to feel better then you really have misjudged me ( wish it wasnt like that )

racist views i see , but lets take one out . support for a wall isnt racist but that argument has been put forth here before that it is

the last time i voted blue ? 2008 for guess who ? but mostly on the local level i have gone independent or libitarian . perhaps in a decade or so one will be strong enough to actually win the big ones . not that the question matters much but i answered it anyway

I didnt miss the point. You however did.

I didnt say all trump supporters were racist. You said that people should stop voting for racist politicians. I simply pointed out that you support trump who is widely regarded as racist (far more widely than pretty much every other politician btw).

I don't think i can remember a single time i was the target of racism.

But many of them do. Im glad to know you support their kneeling though.

I dont think you wrote it to feel better. I think you believe it to feel better.

I think support for a wall can very easily be founded in racism.

Fair enough on voting blue.

the way it came off it did but that s ok its text

trump was never called a racist until he ran for president , he supported lots of organizations supported by minorites and won several awards for his work in there communities

i support the right for them to kneel but i consider it disrespectful

i believe it because its the truth and i have made it work in my life

well i am sorry about the wall , it isnt racist to want it and there are several reasons to have it . but we also have to fix other loopholes

Affirmative action exists because of all the racism that existed towards minorities. The problem with affirmative action though is it tries to solve a perceived problem (racism) by being literally racist.

As for white privilege, it is a myth. The privilege comes from parenting, schooling, culture, and respect for the law...not pigmentation.

Yep... no one EVER charged Trump with being a racist or discrimination before he ran for President...

"Donald started his career, back in 1973, being sued by the Justice Department for racial discrimination — because he would not rent apartments in one of his developments to African-Americans, and he made sure that the people who worked for him understood that was the policy," Clinton said on Monday night.

Wow...nothing has changed over the last 45 years.

This Is the Woman President Trump Wants to Be the First Female African-American Marine General

He dated a black woman. He hangs with black celebrities. Hell, you will have a hard time getting black people that know him to say he is racist. One man said, “forget about black friends. He has no friends at all.” He is a bus8nessman. He uses people to further himself and his agenda. He doesn’t care about race.

People dont change who they are, they just get better at hiding or not getting caught at the shit that got them into trouble. Trump is going to do or say what plays best for him, always has always will. Six months ago Micheal Cohen was a fine upstanding person. Now apparently he is a Rat. A month ago Manafort was a loyal American, by the end of the year.. I bet he will be a Rat as well.

He also wanted the death penalty for five young men who were exonerated by DNA. NOT once since did he apologize or attempt to make amends for this racist stance.
