Deng can- and did, elect to take less money to get his freedom- but there is nothing Deng could do to change his actual cap hit. As i said- and as i know you understand- you can negotiate and take 30 instead of 36M, but the cap hit does not change.

before today he was owed 36m over 2 years....

No matter WHAT- that 36M goes against the cap somehow.

He can agree to only take 30M or whatever- but whatever you negotiate does not, cannot, will not, and will never, change what the cap hit is.

Josh Jackson bought 500 tix and gave them away at the Fry's grocery store this morning.

Good game.

Even with a cooked Bird, the Mercury had to play their top players 40 minutes to eek out a 2 point win.

Should be a great game Tuesday.
