Good for him, but how in the World is he a $10M per year or more player? And $20M guaranteed????

I hope the "source" is wrong...

Is it me or has Seattle literally gone out of their way to tear down a potential dynasty as quick as humanly possible?

Would need to see the incentives to have an honest analysis here.
Devil is always in the details, but this sure looks like one we can jump the gun on and do it even without the incentives. I'm not sure he's worth just the guaranteed money over 3 years:noidea:

I'm just scratching my head as to how you hand Tyler Lockett almost $40m over 3 years and Earl Thomas is still holding out.

Tyler Lockett is worth $12.6m a year and Earl Thomas isn't?
Even Jerry isn't giving you a 2nd for Lockett...

I would've at least let him play out the year to see if he's truly 100% after his leg injury because he didn't look like it last season and he's been on the decline since his rookie year.

I mean they are basically paying him more than what Paul Richardson got and Richardson was the better player at least last season.

I mean if you're Seattle you're hoping this contract is buying low but I have a feeling you could've gotten him for this same contract at the end of the season.

Paul Richardson was the HEALTHIER player last year. I don't think he's ever been the better player.

Paul Richardson was the HEALTHIER player last year. I don't think he's ever been the better player.

His season last year topped anything Lockett has done to this point so tough to say if Richardson was fully healthy and is starting to break out or if he's topped out at what he did last season.

Lockett in year 2 was more or less having the same year as his rookie season before he broke his leg so it's not like he's really shown any indications that's he's going to be much better than what he's shown so far.
