I like Fords but the GMC Canyon / Chevy Colorado has the Ranger beat seven ways to Sunday. For the same price you get more truck including all the bells & whistles like power sliding rear window, rear window defrost, LED bed lighting, heated seats / steering wheel, catback exhaust, tow package, etc...

The Ford Configurator has been taken down. No Build and Price link.

Seems they had a regular cab option which will not be an option.

I've seen where they will sell a cab-chassis only combo.
Just slap the bed of choice on it
Why would anyone want one ?

Probably start with a high MSRP to get the initial profit, then increase discounts to undercut the Chevy. Would be my guess.

Same with options of beds/cabs/engines.

Yes.
A temporary coworker had a '16 or '17 with the diesel. Stripper model.
I then sat in one at the Auto Show here in Nashville.

Size was right, ergonomics seemed off by just a bit.
Maybe personal preferences.

Otherwise, I'm thinkin' this is the best topper;

Sure wish one of these had a fold down tailgate though. The only ones i've seen is Renault and Range Rover

Yep, I'd rather go naturally aspirated. Maybe if I lived in a higher elevation area of the country.
Still a good looking truck and having more options is always nice
