Agree it sure seems to happen that way. If no trade this offseason I believe he gets veto power on trades. To let guys develop, Choo will need to sit more IMO for food of future. Tonight would have been a perfect night to sit

He was off July 30-31, Aug 3,5,7 and now tonight. I think he could play more than that at 23.

I think there's a real possibility that DDJ may not be on this team next year.

I just think they are wanting to see as much as possible from Tocci before he goes back to the minors next season. He is hitting much better than he was when he was hardly ever in the lineup.

I think his no trade kicks in when this season is over. We pretty much are stuck with him.

Tocci will most likely be starting in Frisco or Round Rock next year and maybe in 2020 as well.

Personally, I would like to see what Drew could do playing in CF every day for the rest of the season.

Also, I still wonder what kind of a CF Profar would be. From what I heard he did fine out there in the World Classic last ST.

I don't think any of us were. But he showed some guts and moxie, earned his way back, and looks a lot more like a future starter in CF to me.

I wonder if the team hasn't had about enough of DDJ's 'I'm following the plan, now I'm not' routine?
