Is Tennessee really about to hire a coach who's gone 33-30 at a P5 school? And hasn't won more than 8 games in a season? That's pretty awful, if so.

What choice do they have? Every coach is telling them to go shove their job up their ass.

Fair point. I honestly can't believe this caliber of job is interviewing these types of candidates. I mean seriously just think about if I told you a decade ago the coach of both Purdue and NC State would turn down the Tennessee job to stay at their respective schools. And those were like 5th and 6th options.
