OPINION PLZ: will IKF be our catcher in 2020?

I think it is a possibility. It seems they are more interested in giving him experience as a backup up here instead of giving him experience starting every day at AAA.

I was spoiled during the first 30 years of this team's existence in having Sundberg and Pudge for a lot of those years. That is why I had such high hopes for Alfaro. I still have hopes that at some point we will be able to develop another All Star type catcher.

Because he is not competing with Profar. He is working hard to improve his game which he has done. That is why.

Profar is more versatile and Odor has the pop even though it vacated itself the beginning of the year. I hope they both do great as there will be a spot for both of them at some point. Beltre can't play forever even though he keeps showing us differently.
