leadoff triple and you don't get the run home?!?

If you are playing to win, you don’t put in Gallo. Perhaps only to give him experience. He chased the junk.

Pleasure to see MM make plays like that.

Team played like hammered shit tonight.

They had several opportunities to get runs home, but crapped the bed when it mattered.

At least the new reliever looks good.

Because of Kelleyman. He is famous in Beantown.

Boston fans were pretty good. When DDJ went back for the deep fly ball, we cheered. A fan gave it to me calling it routine. I said DDJ makes the tough plays look routine. He was a good sport. Ha when we got robbed by their SS and the crowd erupted I let him know it was a routine play too.

Part of the success there is the public transportation there. Much better atmosphere than here unfortunately

Crouse and Cody were both supposed to pitch Monday night, but rain interfered with both games. Crouse left after a rain delay in the second inning and Cody's game was rained out completely.

Evan Grant acts like the only thing that a GM is going to care about is who they have control over for a longer period of time. There are other intangibles as to which one do you want to help you in a pennant race and in the playoffs. Hamels and Minor both have had their ups and downs but Hamels is battle tested. You just hope the good Hamels shows up in the playoffs.

Minor being traded would piss me off.

We need someone to eat innings until we get to the new ballpark.

We can’t run 5 triple A guys out there back to back.

You're just incapable of seeing the big picture, aren't you?

Although you make a valid point, Hamels has not been missing bats for quite some time now. I'd honestly view him as a guy who may help you get to the playoffs as a #4 or even a #5 starter, and then be a non-factor come playoff time.

Couldn't the same be said of Hamels?

That was why I was saying he has been up and down so you are right there. But there is a difference many times, not all the tine, when it comes to being there before. And if I am in the playoffs do I want to take a chance on Hamels or Minor to start one of the games. And I do think Hamels would be starting one of them.

If I am Cole, I would try to leverage a team to pick up my option. So not quite an expiring contract. There are some teams he can not control this though
