NO, he has to do all of the lifting. He scored 27 more tonight than Sunday. Between him and Love they toss in 64 and the other 8 guys can't each score 2 more to get to 108. Odd isn't, the Cavs can't break 100 against the Celtics defense after averaging 114 up to the ECF. Right now they're averaging 88 a game against the Celts.

Cavs lose Game 3 in Cleveland and LBJ won't even be in Cleveland for game 4. His locker will be clean and he'll be driving the back roads west.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic. But you are right.

I don’t think he will be gone just bc of that BUT he will want some big roster changes. Signing a bigtime FA and then trading some of these big contracts and draft pick for another bigtime FA. So a total roster formation. I think Love stays but who knows.

The main contracts I see going are:

TT $17.4
JR $14.7
Hill $19

I mean that is $50 mil right there

But who's taking that on and what else are you giving up? You have to attach assets as well. The only real assets you have outside of Lebron is Kevin Love and that Brooklyn pick which lost some of its shine being at #8.

Who do you think is going to be drunk enough to take any of those contracts?

Has Short Buss taken over basketball operations for another team?

Why else would the game's most dominant shit head play so passively then? I wouldn't put it past the clown.

Yeah even the best players of all time occasionally have a bad game. Have you reported for duty yet?

It's something similar that the Heat have to figure out in terms of TJ and to a lesser extent Whiteside who has all-star ability, but a crap attitude. The players that Cleveland has to unload are god awful contracts. But both teams are going to have to attach assets in order for other teams to take on these contracts, and in turn take on another player who's likely on an expiring deal. In any event, these are not scenarios that Lebron would be happy with standing by for.

guy is a rookie GM

he hasnt been Red Auerbach- but he hasnt signed Luol Deng and Mozgov to huge long term deals either.

Point is, the Cavs are in essentially the same position that you have taken so much pleasure in taunting Heat fans about.

They have an aging roster with bad contracts that teams are unlikely to want. The #8 pick, even packaged with Love is unlikely to get them anything that will convince Lebron to stay.

If Lebron leaves, the Cavs are fucked. I will say though, that if he does leave, they will be in a better position to go into a total rebuild than the Heat were.

Would love to know what those stats were in the 2nd half when Boston dropped 59 on Cleveland.

The stats? If you watched the game, you know. Lack of effort, unforced TO’s, leaving guys wide open, uncontested layups, etc. They gave up, that’s what happened

The roleplayer excuse holds no weight to me. If Terry Rozier and Brown played in the Cleveland "LeBron offense", they'd be bums too, because they'd be forced to just space the floor, and be spot up shooters. In Boston, they move the ball around, and that makes a ton of difference. Also, legit question...is LeBron the only megastar in which we go and break down every role player in losses?

Youre completely drunk

The Difference in this series is simple

The Cavs get absolutely nothing on either end from guys like JR Smith, Larry Nance, Jordan Clarkson, Jeff Green, George Hill, Rodney Hood

Every single guy that steps on the court for the Celtics has contributed to these wins, even Aaron Baynes has been a hugely significant player

And Kevin Love isnt going to the HOF

BWAHAHAH!!!!!:L:L:L:L:L:L:L

Tell me one person that wouldn't trade Jordan's '86 crapola team with LeBron. You're a real Einstein for even comparing the two. And Jordan was playing against arguably the GREATEST team ever in the '86 Celtics. Who would maul and manhandle this Rookie/Sophomore 2018 Celtics team missing their two best players.

the 86 Bulls Starting lineup

Jordan
Corzine
Macy
Oakley
Woolridge

Yea... Im sure Everyone would trade Lebron's supporting help for that great lineup. The "LeExcuses" just keep rolling in. Dude is BETA. He's a PRETENDER to the throne. Deal with it

And maybe they are getting nothing because "LeHarden" ices them out for an entire half with his Hero Ball.

Difference is Celtics were easily favored to win the series in 86. No one expects the Celtics missing their two best player to win more than a game. And they have already won 2

Divac is still in the lesgue, right? There will be teams wlling to take them but they not only have to give up those contracts but maybe Love has to go and draft picks. Not saying they will get a whole lot but some desperate team could take them

Agreed. Having said that, we haven't seen even a modicum of success out of the Cavs this century when Lebron isn't involved with the team. With 3 #1 picks in 4 years, it still took Lebron the greatest player this generation to bridge it together. What's your confidence level expecting Cleveland to get it right going forward? If they had Griffin as a GM, I'd like their chances? But they have a rookie GM with shit ownership. Not a great recipe for success.

Typical LeTot Excuses. When they Cavs win its ALL LeBron. When they underperform against a teams they should EASILY beat its everyone else fault.

If Lebron was a true leader he would rally the troops.

I disagree. The Celtics are attacking the Cavs with youth and athleticism. When a team has the advantage in speed and athleticism that the Celtics have, it can make the other team look like they quit when the reality is, they're just too slow.

If the Cavs aren't going to try to use their younger players to match that, they need to do what Lue said...start playing physical and hope they can use that to slow the Celtics.

whats a typical HOF resume look like?

Love will have probably 6-7 all star games, and a championship or two....probably only a couple ALL NBA teams....i highly doubt thats enough

Love is in the hall easily. And he's still playing good ball. its not his fault LeBron isn't a real leader.

lol @Divac

The problem is, I don't see how that gets you enough to convince Lebron to stay.

As difficult as it will be to do, the Cavs best long term option may be to just let Lebron go and start the rebuild.

There is some level of validity to this.

But any supporting cast that plays well below their average performance while the best player puts up 40 point triple doubles in losses will get shit on, whether LeBron is involved or not.

No Dis-respect, I think thats total Garbage

Tatum, Rozier, Brown, are true, young, athletically gifted players

To compare them to George Hill, Jordan Clarkson, JR Smith, etc.....Laughable
