For the most part, I agree.

Having said that, part of the reason Woj gets trusted with info is because he is fair and responsible re: the info he's given.

If there is one reporter out there who would be trusted with that info, that early and with no worry that he'd come out with it before given the green light, it's Woj.

Boom shaka laka.

I think James would want Ball there.....he's never had a pure PG like that. Having Ball run the offense would lighten the load on James a bit and he'd be free to score and rebound, not run the offense. James might post career numbers with Ball feeding him the ball. And Ingram and another superstar could still score 18-19ppg.

And he could pick and choose when to take over.

With that injury, he might be willing to sign a 2-3 year deal worth 36-54 million. Basically, 18 mill per year and still sign another deal when this one's over and he's proven he's back.

That would be a good deal for both parties, imo.

I think there is a VERY VERY good reason why in LeBron's 15 year career he has never had a "pure" point guard

ya know why?

because its the LAST thing he wants. Especially one that is an awful shooter.

But at his age now....he may need that so he can last longer.

I am serious when I say I could not imagine a worse starting point guard in the entire NBA to team up with LeBron than Lonzo Ball

DJ--- have you watched the guy?

he has zero interest in not playing with the ball in his hands. zero.

LeBron wants the ball and he wants shooters around him. If you could give him that he would be highly susceptible to an offer if you ask me.

Nope. Never watched him.

Totally missed that epic fadeaway bankshot that won the game last night.

And still just 27. If he were over 30, that'd be scarier IMO.

Kobe was a fucking dinosaur.
a dinosaur that had been putting heavy minutes on his body since he was 19. Those add up.

Kobe was unreal though...def top 10 player of all time.

Ball would be the PG but James would have the ball in his hands in Luke's offense.....heavy on the ball movement.

Has Ball finished developing as a player?

I can see what you are implying, but alot of people thought Harden/Paul couldn’t coexist.

But if James wanted Ball gone.....I'd trade him in a second......fuck his dad.

I want James here bad. He'd be great in LA, Lakers fans love basketball and he's the man right now.

for a Pg- with LeBron you want a guy who is more a combo guy that can play off the ball, hit a 3, create on the pick and roll and ideally play a little defense.

Like CJ McCollum would be perfect if you ask me--- he could be a playmaker when LeBron is out- but when LeBron is he he could bomb trees and spread the floor and playoff the ball.

Its why I think George Hill is a solid fit--- smart player, veteran (which lebron has historically liked to play with), can shoot the 3, can create a little bit--- but is a very solid floor spreader.....perfect if you ask me.

From Cleveland to Miami and back to Cleveland again--- the formula to win around LeBron is to surround him with shooters and get the hell out of his way....its what he wants...Brown, Spo, Blatt, Lue-- all have tried to get LeBron to play omore off the ball- play in the post more etc....he just has no interest in it---- he wants to do exactly what he is doing now----- have the floor spread for him- and he makes plays and controls the game.

if you took the ball out of LeBrons hand for any point guard short of Chris Paul you are doing your team a monstrous diservice. LeBron is one of the beset creators, one of the best court visions in NBA history.

taking him off the ball would be colossally asinine.

+1000

ill pretty much guarantee if LeBron goes to LA that Ball will be shortly shipped out for a veteran that can shoot.
