Well there are plenty of stupid people to go around that are fans of all organizations.
Anyone with any sense knows outside the Steelers that was his Best (really only) option to continue this season. What player, right now, wouldn't want to go to the Patriots at the end of their career? Heck Jamaal Charles is asking to be the released. You know he is hoping they come calling or worst case the Steelers.

Side NOTE....Does any Patriot fan care the Steelers signed Steven Ridley? NOPE!
hes been football dead for a few years.

You know Stevan only had one season over 800 yards with the Pats right? He's not on JH's level as a pro player.

Comparison = FAIL

Well aware of Ridley's ability. Hence why truly no one cares and your argument is agreeing with me. :noidea:
The only comparison, which isn't a failure, is that Harrison was a Steeler and is now a Pat and that Ridley was a Pat and is now a Steeler and both signed fairly late in the season.

As for Ridley, had to be some level of gamesmanship, since there are WAY better RB's available on the waiver wire.

Harrison on the Steelers: “man that guy is a defensive monster.”
He goes to Pats: “meh, he’s a washed up old man joining the NE geriatric ward.”

Fixed. Ya know, for clarity

Good read which explains the reasoning. They’ve had too many changes/injuries in the front 7. Flowers, Wise and Lee have looked solid. It’s been a patchwork D, and I think they had few options at this time. Agree it was a no-brainer to pick up JH.

I think most people are viewing this in a one sided approach my team vs your team which IMO is dumb. This is beneficial to both teams. The Steelers went young and fast at LB Harrison is neither and the helped sure up their O-Line in the process. The Pats needed help at LB / DE and Harrison is well rested, has playoff exp and can damn sure be used for situational football something the Pats thrive on. This is a good deal for both teams.

This thread cracks me up. Some pats fans are acting like they just picked up Aaron Donald while some Steeler fans are acting like they just lost Aaron Donald. He might play 3 snaps a game and register a tackle or two. He is a body on the roster to add depth for the playoff push. Nothing more.

Actually it is more, but I won't argue opinion.

The Harrison pick up dovetails nicely into the Patriots ongoing strategy of picking up "old, washed-up" players that add depth and experience to the team. Plus, they are short on LBs. Nothing more, nothing less. Harrison will be used in certain situations, and it is not a stretch to think he may get some crucial sacks in the playoffs.

If you can't understand what a guy who played 14 years for the Steelers can do for the pats if they face pitt come playoff time, you're a lost cause.

Darth Hoodie has locked Harrison into the film room to get his guys a edge. The guy may never even play but he will have a impact on schemes and such.

I agree. He itches a scratch NE has. Pitt had no room/use for him.
I hope that itch leads to syphilis... At the very least, a very yeasty infection.
