You don't see me on here pimping out FSU...they suck...and so does FAU in terms of ranked teams.

That's not what it's about it's just about demonstrating that the OOCS and in conference schedule is comparable especially after Wisconsin faces Michigan next week and Bama faces Mercer. I feel it's much closer than the SEC committee is making it appear with their artificially enhancing the rankings of LSU and Miss St. At the very least the two schedules are comparable but I've been hearing way too much from ESPN that Bama is clearly #1 and when I look at their schedule and how they performed vs their tougher challenges I don't see it at all. Will Bama still have an overall higher SOS next week? Sure and probably by at least 20. However if the Badgers curb stomp #24 Michigan then we would have a good debate on our hands.

Today I learned Dallas is in Alabama...who knew.

Maybe if you guys had showed up to the first Neutral site game, you might have got invited to a second. Nobody wants to pay Jerry World prices to see that shit show again.

Are you joking??? We were dealing with the POS recruits that Gary Anderson (just fired from Oregon St.) left us. Still we basically were beaten by the same # of points as the Huskies did vs you guys in the championship and our game was in the state of Bama while the CFP was in an actual neutral site also it was with our worst team under the Paul Chryst Era in his first season and that was the Huskies best season in like 2 decades or so.

Again, Saban turned down the offer for a 2 game series for a home and home and neutral sites before we played the first game. You're now the one making excuses for your coach being a little chicken. Come to Wisconsin and we'll gladly play at Bama. Offer is still on the table all you have to do is sign it.

Well, at least you don't think playing Mercer improves our SOS...I'll at least give you kudos for that...that makes you at least smarter than a few of the idjits on here.

"Can't say for certain".

If you had to cancel against Washington because of "Big10 scheduling", you would have canceled against Alabama. Duh.

And "had the guts" - congrats on the same moral victory the other cupcakes get. When Wisconsin plays Alabama, it takes guts. When Alabama plays Wisconsin, it's Alabama getting an easy win. Cupcake status even in your own mind.

You can't say for certain either I would need more details on why specifically it was Washington and not BYU and if it was timing.

Playing in Wisconsin is no easy win. Wisconsin has the 4th highest winning percentage in the NCAA since Paul Chryst became the head coach. No matter what your coach wasn't man enough to accept playing at Wisconsin on the road or at the neutral site.

LOL, maybe I spoke too soon about idjits.

We played you guys in 2015, we played the Huskies in 2016. We played you in Dallas, we played Washington in Atlanta...I hope you don't need an Atlas to figure out which is closer...and less neutral.

That was also the year you went 10-3 and lost to Northwestern 13-7 and Iowa 10-6. I'm not sure we should be crying you a river. Of course, it is similar because like this year, you also avoided all the good east teams...but you didn't win the close ones, so you didn't get your shit pushed in during the B1G Championship.

As much flak as Bama receives for that it's a great move as is playing at neutral sites even if it gives off the appearance of being scared but it makes winning easier which is the overall goal. Saban is a smart man, a great recruiter, motivator and knows how to surround himself with the right people. No matter what they'll always be a top ten team with him at the helm. I'm honestly shocked he hasn't gone to the NFL yet.

Still it's an obvious advantage in geographic location for Bama. I didn't look up the exact site and just assumed it was in the state of Bama. So we put up an equal fight with one of our worst teams in a while as the Huskies did in the CFP with one of their best teams in their history. No moral victories a loss is a loss and it's a shame we played Bama in PC's first year but it is what it is and you guys did very well.

Our schedule after Bama was even more advantageous than our schedule this season. Those two games were complete chokes by our QB Stave which I said along would happen. Now we have Stave 2.0 in Hornytoad. The only difference our team is so good we can beat ranked teams even with 2 pick sixes and 4 total turnovers. Not sure if any other team in the Nation can do that vs a quality opponent.

Don't talk about that, I don't count the Gary Anderson era as that man is dead to me. He tried to change our style of play and recruits. It messed up our team for a couple seasons and we just now have sophomores and Juniors recruited by PC and his staff.

You can't say for certain either I would need more details on why specifically it was Washington and not BYU and if it was timing.

You said earlier it was because of changes in Big10 scheduling. Now you need more details?

I'm curious, exactly what detail would make you able to keep a game with Alabama that you couldn't keep with Washington?

Ok, so in addition to all your above bullshit, we are now adding Saban isn't man enough to accept playing Wisconsin with your new coach...many years before your new coach was even hired?

Except.. the easy win we got against Wisconsin was with that head coach.

More Please!

If I can find more info on the matter I will certainly bring it up. As for now just because Washington was cancelled doesn't necessarily mean Bama would've or wouldn't have been cancelled at the moment as far as I know. Saban did turn down the home and home and the 2 game neutral series with the one neutral game being closer to Alabama than Wisconsin. You can call that being a bitch but he was also being smart because it makes it advantageous for winning which is the main objective and for that I'll give him credit. It would've been nice to have a home and home though as it would've been if we were allowed to keep the Husky game.

You did win and congrats. However, that was PC's first game vs a P5 ranked team in his first season as the HC for Wisconsin. Saban lost his first two games vs ranked P5 teams in his first season and was 7-6. It takes time to acquire your recruits, coaching staff, and trainers and time to learn the system. I'll take having the 4th highest winning percentage in the country so far in his first three years and 2 bowl wins vs USC and Western Michigan.

We will enjoy it this week but, we play Air Force this week and that will be the end of that.

They are usually a tough team for Boise to play.....

As for Syracuse they're 53rd in scoring and FAU is tenth.
Disingenuous and definitely apples and oranges.

Syracuse is doing it against ACC defenses. FAU is doing it against C-USA defenses.

All in all, it doesn't matter if you are ranked 1, 2, 3, or 4. Either Miami or Clemson is assured at least one more loss. Whoever is #5 is in if they win out. The argument that GD should be making is how much better we are than Auburn.

I personally want three things.
1. Win out (For the obvious reasons.)
2. Keep making the scoreboard look like a pinball machine. (I mean some obscene scores.)
3. Play Alabama in the CFP. (I want to see two heavyweights slugging it out again.)

The path for ND to make the CFP:

1. Alabama wins out
2. Miami wins out
3. Georgia loses at Georgia Tech
4. Ohio State beats Wisconsin

At that point ND would be ahead of a 3 loss Auburn, 3 loss UGA, and I would presume a 2 loss Clemson since we were ahead of them with each having 1 loss. It would come down to a 2 loss Ohio State and 2 loss ND in this scenario.

In this scenario it would be:

#1. Alabama
#2. Miami
#3. Oklahoma
#4. Notre Dame/Ohio State

Yep. Both Notre Dame and Ohio States best chances for getting in are for chaos NOT to happen.
If that scenario were to play out I think ND gets in based on SOS and better losses. Ohio State could jump them with style points by winning the CCG in convincing fashion a la 2014
