The O line dominated the Rams game & it was shown by their running game. Ditto for the Raiders game. Last nt they were fine - the problem was injuries on the D & the fact that the offense was hardly on the field after the 1st QTR. Their poor running game is mainly a product of having no real quality at the RB position (& the best they have at RB is injured). Perine is a mixed bag, but he is likely to rarely see the field if he keeps fumbling.

Hence why I said two good games, two not so good games. The Rams falls in the not so good games category along with the Eagles game.

They don't have that talent, but they have enough to be 8th best in the league. So it proves you are mistaken. Sorry, but based on stats (which are impartial, as you state), you are so far wrong about this team. In fact, you haven't had one prediction right that I am aware of about this team.

I agree going forward we better improve the RG but last night the Chiefs pass Def was just toooooooo enticing. To a certain degree we didn't need RG last night. It would have help sure but with Kelly out, Perine fumbling and CT is not an every down back we had to attack the chiefs weak pass def.

Good take. The O line is the least of their issues (if it even is one) - only real problem with that unit would be if they incur major injuries & they had one big scare in that area yesterday. The Redskins running issues are now - by far - the product of a lack of quality running backs - not the blocking. Their starter is hurt (& is only so-so to begin with), Perine is apparently a fumbler & takes to long to get started & Thompson is not an everydown back. They will no doubt address this area in the offseason but will need to do the best they can moving fwd.

Keep in mind that they won't be playing the Chiefs every week (& I feel confident that the O line will be dramatically better in the rematch vs the Eagles especially if Cox is still missing or banged up).

They are better than I expected, no doubt, but there isn't enough proof to say I was right or wrong about the o-line or running game at this point. There's some good games and some bad games. Don't know if they are legit or not yet.

The measure of an effective OL is rushing yds, Yds/carrry avg, and sacks given. PPG has a lot of other components that can affect it. Sorry, but again a weak defense of your claim that is being proven wrong, as we all said you would.

You should write a book titled "How to Incorrectly Apply Statistics". True - the Steelers have the 2nd best defense in the NFL pt wise. However - 3 of their 4 games were against the Browns, Bears & Ravens - 3 of the worst offensive units in the NFL. Let's see how they do against better competition.

Already did. But to say that the o-line and running game is in a good spot right now is wrong in my opinion. Still work that needs to be done with it.
