You can contend with massive injuries if your regulars step it up. You can contend if some of your guys have down years but you stay healthy. You can't contend with what we got right now.

When I posted this we were actually a lot healthier than now. Ugh. :help:

Guys, we are fans and we will keep rooting, the team can get healthy and get hot, AZ can have a Pads-style swoon, we can beat them head to head and win the division by one game...but it's not shatting to say that we wouldn't be at all surprised if we don't make the playoffs.

Something that was literally impossible to imagine when the season started.

Baseball can be a cruel bitch, but it's still my favorite. We waited a long time to win a ring, we can wait another year. The core of the team is still intact, we should be contenders for a few more years at least...
