Without looking it up, I'm pretty sure that Rodgers Packers have had more games allowing 30 points in the playoffs than Bradys Patriots. I know last year Rodgers beat one of them in the Cowboys, but then they allowed 40+ to the Falcons. Brady ain't winning that either...especially in Atlanta.
The Patriots defense is one of the best in the NFL.

There are millions outside of New England that think Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in football

This poll alone here has people voting for Rodgers, and most of this forum is filled with people that worship Tom Brady
Yet TB is running away with it.

We are talking all time QB's and Rodgers still has many years ahead of him if he can stay healthy. Brady has earned bragging rights because of all the SB wins.

I disagree with that....I don't need to see a full career to conclude who is the better player. I don't 'remove talent' from a player who suffered unfortunate injuries. I put Rodgers ahead of Brady simply because I believe he's the better player.

I also believe Rodgers is the better player but all QB's are ultimately judged by SB wins.

Both defenses sucked. Just liked Atlanta. That's at least 50% of the reason those teams lost. Don't hate because NE is continually one
Of the best balanced and coached teams.

A SportsHoopla poll is kind of self selecting...

20+ Pats fans voted Brady. Nothing wrong with that- just noting the obvious that SportsHoopla is not a representative skew of NFL fandom. Same thing would happen (and did) when Russell Wilson would come up because of how many Seahawks fans we have on here.

Agreed there

Some of us give the entire organization the credit

Some of us give it to one lady

Just looking it up.....the Packers allowed two teams last year in the playoffs to go over 30 points. The last two times the Patriots allowed 30 points was once in 2014 and once in 2009.

Bart Starr accomplished the greatest feat in winning 5 SB's in less than a decade during a time when defenses had the advantage. Today's game is more offense friendly because of NFL rules.

20+ non NE fans also voted for TB. He's still leading (-)NE fan votes.

I don't have an issue with people believing Brady is better. When the foundation of that argument is 'rings' alone....that's when I realize some people are either myopic in their fandom or just don't grasp the concept of football.

Like I said before the Patriots defense is solid year in and year out.

This is a poll about one position. Someone already mentioned not the supporting casts. TB has the records and trophies to set him apart from the pack.

Yeah 5 for Rodgers/Packers, they are 1-4. 3 for the Patriots/Brady, they're 1-2. Although the Pats have given up 27+ 10 times in the playoffs and they are 5-5. Rodgers/Packers have given up 27+ 6 times and are 1-5.

Yes I know the last part just fits my argument, but 10/34 or about 30% of the games the defense has given up 27 points and the Pats are 5-5. 6/16 the defense has given up 27 points for the Packers, that's 37%, and they are 1-5.

Trophies are a team accomplishment. Just in this thread we had a skit about how great Edelman is, Hoody, the NE defense, etc. Not once has Brady won the SB when his defense was sub-par.
