Wanted to bump this to the top and eat my serving of crow. If Sugar Bowl Knight was the player the coaches had been seeing ever week in practice I see why they started him over Bell. I think Bell still has a place on this team and can be very good QB in the right offense (see last drive versus OSU). Now my only question is can Knight duplicate his play in the Sugar bowl and can he stay healthy running that style of offense? I think everyone agrees that the competition for starting QB is over at OU. Don't know where this leaves Thompson whether he will transfer or what. But Knight, Ford, Mixon, and Ross is looking like a hell of a backfield for next season. If Nelson gets his medical redshirt that makes the defense much better and Phillips adds much needed depth to the D line. Could be a special year for the Sooners.
