Some of that is mechanics of a young QB learning to throw over big college players. Its more like, hey kid, this aint high school anymore. I think as time goes on, batted passes will be a thing of the distant past.

Stoops always had solid offensive coordinators and I'm sure they had more influence recruiting and picking he QBs. What do you see every time stoops is on tv at practice? He is coaching the DBs.

This QB play is on Heupel folks. Bob just has his stamp on it because he is the HC so your are both right and wrong.

Honestly guys we don't need 350 yards passing to win every game so lets stop looking for it.

Defense and a run game are tried and true and I'm seeing positive things there. We need our QB to settle down and play smart and if he only has to throw 20 passes a game, I'm fine with that.

Heupel = Mike Leach went and got him.
Bradford = Bob didn't even want to offer him a scholarship.
Paul Thompson = Terrible QB. Sam as a freshman would have been better than him.
Hyble was no great piece of work.
Landry may hold records, but he wasn't going to win the big games, yet, Bob had nothing else.

Any greatness that came out of a QB came at the hands of the Offensive Coordinators.
I'm guessing Heupel wont last long at this rate.

Heupel needs to go. Tries to throw in the wrinkles at the wrong times, predictable, prefers finess over power, etc etc etc....The logic of starting Knight because of his ability to make plays with his feet is a cover for an overall poorly conceived game plan/execution. Lack of O is on Heupel. I think the D won this game, along with some help from WV.
