We held about 3-4 times no calls and Pass Interference one of them shouldn't of been called. Wisconsin held Jaxon Hood in the end zone which should of been a safety, Illegall men down field on the fake punt which would of resulted in a turnover, the wr did step out if bounds the 2nd foot and it was pretty clear....... DJ Foster got turned around on a ball that would of been a touch down. Still the officials pulled the crap at the end plenty of shit that wasn't called pathetic refing crew with a real crew we would of seen a fair game that would of gone down to the wire.

I suspect many of the AP voters only saw the ending on Youtube given the time the game was played.

Alright, i'll post again because this isn't about the last play:

1. You held much more than we did. It wasn't close.
2. That endzone holding was only in the endzone because the ref found it inconclusive that Southward got a pick that he sure looked like he got.
3. The fake punt was about one yard past the line, which never gets called. To prove the point, someone at the Scout Badger board screenshotted four plays where ASU linemen were further past the line. If they call it against us, they owe it against you four times.
5. Duckworth a close call that was probably wrong. However, it wasn't any different than the catch by Southward (#2). You can't have it both ways. Both were close calls that leaned towards overturning but apparently weren't conclusive. Either they both were wrong or neither were. Plus, there was a missed fifteen yard facemask on this play, so it only made a 6-7 yard difference.
6. Again, phantom field goal, phantom PI, and phantom PI no-call on Pedersen were all worse calls than any you listed and hurt us more by far than all the ones you listed combined.

Are you saying that ASU had no holding or interference penalties and it was only Wisconsin that had them. When you look at the penalties called in the game ASU had 3 penalties for a total of 15 yards. These penalties had to be called because they were offsides and everyone could see them. The 6 penalties against Wis were for 76 yards and were all judgemental calls for interference or holding.

It seems a bit one sided in a 4 quarter game to not get any judgemental calls against both teams

ASU has had very few penalties under Graham.

Dude im saying the officals were bad for both teams. They were worse for you we held probably 6-7 times now that I think about it.

Yes, look at the stats. That's what one, maybe not you, would expect from any disciplined team, and one with an experienced secondary. Is it true, offside calls are easy to spot but interference usually occurring downfield in from of God and every one else is hard? You are making a well thought out argument here. Compare the two teams stats and see for yourself. Or just keep on wondering and whining.

The point was that the refs sucked all game for both teams. You had the one PI that should not have been called, I counted at least two more that should have.

On the fake punt he wasn't one yard, he was 5 yards downfield. The rule is if an ineligible receiver is five yards or more past the LOS when a pass is thrown there is a penalty. If you watch the replay as the pass is thrown the lineman realizes he's too far down the field and quickly tries to get back but fails to do so in time.

Saying we had a phantom field goal is like saying Stave took a phantom knee. It doesn't matter whether or not it was inside the goalpost, if a ball goes over the post it is non-reviewable and comes down to the judgement of the ref.

The refs were far worse for us. You have to be a complete lunatic to say so otherwise.:laugh3:

Ironbreaker and others are grasping at straws. The whole college football world, including the Pac-12 conference, is in agreement that the Pac-12 officiating crew on the field fucked up and cost Wisconsin a chance to kick the game winning FG. No one outside of this thread is bringing up the replay officials.

ASU won the game, but shouldn't have. They got extremely lucky. Deal with it.

Yeah, they're the same in that Wisconsin was on the business end of a referee screw job in both instances, to the time of a 6-point swing in your favor.

After further review (ha), it looks like the play wasn't reviewable anyways....replay crew not at fault.
