You're admitting they lost to Georgia because Georgia had more talent.

I don't think I've ever seen holtz single someone out in the media after a game like that.

he was pointing out OSU played the game minus Henderson JSN and the 4th minus Harrison

It's not like somebody else didn't substitute for them. Ohio state is always loaded with talent.

No shit, Sherlock. Go back to the PF, because you obviously missed that Ohio State, with backups, played physical with Georgia, which was the point.
Ohio state has talented backups too.

I don't follow Ohio State football to really know if what Lou Holtz said is true.

But I think it's reasonable to say if you could be more physical than Ohio State you can beat them. If you can to be more physical than any team you have a good chance of beating them.

So why did they rush up to spike the ball to stop the clock?

The game clock is a running clock until the last two minutes of each half. At the two minute mark, making a first down will stop the clock to move the chains and spot the ball. If the previous play stayed inbounds, the game clock resumes. The previous Ohio State play was a run that stayed inbounds.

with who we had out, yeah, they did have more talent. Yet they were still a kick away from winning it. Go figure.

I can recall some mumbling, spitting rants but cannot say for sure was after being called out incorrectly.

Harrison had that DB completely locked up. There's no way you can lock up a DB like that without holding him. And it resulted in a touchdown.
there is and he did. Nothing you wouldn't see on a number of plays each game.

are you really saying the subs were as good as 2 guys who will be 1st round WRs and our 4th string RB should be able to replace our top guy?

I mean, injuries happen but that's kooky talk.

Did Lou Holtz say Day was a bad coach?

I realize that. My understanding is it is illegal to grab the shoulder pads, but I do see the referees let that go quite often. I was a little confused on what the rule actually is because of it.

OK, but wasn't for the reason Holtz said we lose games.
Lou Holtz said Day teams lose games when they come up against more physical opponents. Doesn't everybody? I'm not sure what the big deal is.

I'm saying the Ohio state had a very good team without those guys. And had adequate backups to replace them. They damn near won the game without them. Not sure what's so kookie about that.
