After eeking-out a 1-point win over Seattle sweeping them for the season, the Rams travel to Arizona to take on the floundering, bad team of the Cardinals during a holiday week. Hopefully, the Rams will not forget this momentum and go into State Farm Stadium and get two wins-in-a-row. Easier said than done with this team. So we shall see if the Rams can get within a game of .500 next weekend!!

Will the Rams play their way out of a top 10 pick?

No, I doubt it, ALR but if they do stay in the top ten, what assurance do you have that the ShitferBrains twins will pick the right guy to fill our many holes with that pick?? Will they take the right guy at QB? or LT? or D-Line? Their history indicates a highly questionable player and usually the wrong one especially when it comes to O-linemen and D-Linemen!

Well, if they aren’t in the top 5 ( which they aren’t as a result of today’s win ), they won’t have a shot of either of the top 2 LT’s or the top 3 QB’s.

The Rams aren’t making the playoffs with this team, so every win becomes a negative.

Well, if they fall out of the top ten, they are expected to select maybe a Fuaga or Latham at Tackle and/or a guy like QB Jayden Daniels who def has a chance of falling to them lower in the First Round or maybe the Second Round. They are not going to get Williams or Maye at QB nor are they going to get Fashanu or Alt. So the following is a list of QBs and LTs that could easily come to them at say positions 15-18 in the First Round.

QBs
  • QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC. BIG BOARD RANK: 1. ...
  • QB DRAKE MAYE, NORTH CAROLINA. BIG BOARD RANK: 3. ...
  • QB BO NIX, OREGON. ...
  • QB MICHAEL PENIX JR., WASHINGTON. ...
  • QB J.J. MCCARTHY, MICHIGAN. ...
  • QB SHEDEUR SANDERS, COLORADO. ...
  • QB JAYDEN DANIELS, LSU. ...
  • QB QUINN EWERS, TEXAS.
Tackles
  • Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Penn State. LT | 6'6" | 310 lbs | 4th Year. ...
  • Joe Alt, Notre Dame. LT | 6'8" | 315 lbs | 3rd Year. ...
  • Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State. RT | 6'6" | 335 lbs | 4th Year. ...
  • JC Latham, Alabama. RT | 6'6" | 335 lbs | 3rd Year. ...
  • Kingsley Suamataia, BYU. RT | 6'6" | 315 lbs | 3rd Year.

I think when all is said and done, Jayden Daniel’s goes top 10.

That guy is impressive, and he’s looked better than Williams this season.

Bo Nix is probably more of the type of QB McVay would want, but he probably goes top 10 as well.

Rams dropped from 7 to 13 with the win today.

There are at least 4 teams in need of a QB ahead of them ( NE, ATL, Giants, TB ). And that doesn’t include Chicago who has (2) top 5 picks and what they decide regarding Fields.

We pick ahead of San Fran who everyone knows wants J.J. McCarthy. Maybe that is the guy they will take.

Why would SF take him? Purdy is the perfect fit for their system.

Just posted a perfect passer rating today.

You will have to ask John Lynch, ALR. SF likes McCarthy a bunch. We should snap him up as payback for whipping the Rams ass 9 straight times and counting in the regular system!!

Well... you don't build a winning team by tanking for low draft picks. I want the Rams to win as many games that they can even if they end up losing in a wild card game. Number one It makes the season more fun and Number two it builds confidence in your young players.

I agree Rambunctious! Now there is talk of Snead working the phones on draft day to move the Rams into the First Round closer to the mid-to-bottom half of that round for a second First Round pick. The notion is to pick-up a future franchise QB and a LT. So maybe a Nix/McCarthy-Fuaga/Lantham First Round.

A Fuaga/Lantham pick in the First Round for a LT selection would be a good pick for a future LT. Joe Alt is probably the top guy but he'll be gone with the Rams' present W-L record positioning. If we get Nix or McCarthy in the First Round and then a Fuaga/Lantham pick later, I would consider that a great start to a loaded 2024 draft!

Hope the Rams run up the score with the Cards trying all of these trick plays.
