It seems to me that Darnold is very concerning for every PAC 12 team out there and beyond. The kid is just dog pound. He has every tool in the shed. He's going to be a serious problem for every team that has to deal with him.

whoregon is a product of failure from UW and USC. They will always be 2nd-3rd fiddle as players want to have a shot at a real bowl game. Oregon was climbing before either UW or USC declined. the consistent winning Oregon had in consecutive years may have a little to do with their decline but not greatly.

Utah had a couple of teams that could have played for the Natty in '04 and '08, as well as TCU in '10 and '14.

But I wouldn't count out Oregon just yet. The pac is an overall weak conference. Over half of their teams had losing records last year and a lot of them were taken behind the woodshed in OOC. Because of that, the Ducks aren't finished just yet.

Yeah, their run has come and gone. The CFB world has adjusted to the pace and schemes Oregon won with.

They will still occasionally contend when they can recruit playmakers like Mariota, but most years the PAC will be Washington and USC country.

My bad, you're right. "Only" half of your conference had losing records. Out of those 29 wins in OOC, weren't 10 or 12 of those against FCS teams? 3 more were against Hawaii. Against teams that mattered, PAC teams were whipped thoroughly. 3-3 bowl record I believe, in which your 1st and 2nd best teams were spanked.
