So far the NFL is saying they still plan on having a season. But I believe there is still a solid chance that it could get cancelled like all the other sports have seen happen.

If the season actually does get scrapped what does that do to some older player's careers? I think it would be a career ender for guys like Brees and Brady for sure. They are already old by NFL standards. And if they have to come back in September of 2021 after not playing since Dec/Jan of the 2019 season I don't think their old bodies will be capable of shaking off that much rust. If a player's last game was in the playoffs in January 2019 and they don't play another real game until September 2021 that is 20 months without playing. Their legs and arms would lose too much to come back I think.

Other guys on the bubble would have to be Roethlisberger, Rivers, and possibly even Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers would be nearing 38 years old starting the 2021 season.

There's a chance that Brady and Rivers will never get to play for their new teams.

I could see Howard and a pick for Gronk. Maybe.

Don't see BB being desperate enough for a TE to give up a pick as well.

I think they try for Thaddeus Moss if they can swing it. Great pedigree.
too small IMO. hes not much bigger than me.

Thought I read 6'3'.

I dunno, don't follow college ball, just read about him somewhere.
they always add 1-2 inches

hes 6'2 in cleats. hes a tweener, and those guys dont tend to fare well at the next level.

2020 NFL draft: Thaddeus Moss scouting report

great hands
excellent blocker

2nd or 3rd TE at best.

Weaknesses
He is more of a warming up runner, takes a bit to get to his top end speed. He won’t threaten defenders up the seam and Moss won’t create a lot of separation at the second and third levels of a defense. Teams shouldn’t expect much in terms of yards after the catch.

Not a well defined route runner, a bit of a shock since he is the son of the one of the two best wide receivers of all-time. Needs to become more refined as a route runner since Moss won’t win matchups with his limited athleticism.

Projection: 3rd-4th round

Honestly it could probably save some careers. Players can get 100% healthy, their bodies can heal like they haven't in 20 years.
