I want the Panthers to win

Id want Denver to win if I thought for a second Peyton Manning would have anything to do with them winning

But it would be a sham if Peyton plays like he did yesterday (he will) and gets to ride off into the sunset with a win, taking all the credit

The media might give Manning credit but if you listen to him all year he has done nothing but try to turn the attention back on the defense and what they have been able to do. He can't help what the media decide to put out there.

Newton gives the NFL a peak at the future evolution of the QB position as he handily beats the consummate pocket QB. 2015 is the first year that we saw the full display of what a running QB can do for an NFL offense as Cam goes on to win MVP and SB MVP.

Wouldn't you say Russell Wilson already did that though winning it 2 years ago?

I'm rooting for number one, but will be shocked as anybody if that's what actually happens.

Because Seattle's D and Lynch was the reason they won. Wilson hadn't yet completely evolved the year they won and he was still playing more of the role of Trent Dilfer than Joe Montana.

Lastly to Peyton fans

If he wins Superbowl 50 do you want him to retire and ride off into the sun set or come back and seek back to back like Elway?
It is time for him to retire. Let the Osweiler ERA begin.

Nah. Peyton needs to retire. They aren't going to go back to back. They had a lot of balls bounce their way this season. The defense deserves a lot of love for sure, but that offense is arguably the worst to ever play in the playoffs. And the offense has weapons. So it's clear that the QB play just isn't there. Peyton would be even worse next year if he came back.

And I voted for Peyton to have a great game winning the MVP and riding off. But I'd love to see Cam win too. It's a win win situation for me. Two of my favorite players of all-time.

I went with the Broncos defense carrying them to victory. Just so tired of people disrespecting the top defense in football

I really think people are way too quick to use Dilfers name when describing a game managing type QB. Dilfer only played half of that regular season and had a rating of 76.

He was a liability (one that was successfully covered up) where Wilson was an absolute asset.

And its also not like Montana never had great running games and defenses to lean on. He and Brady were/are game managing type QBs much closer to who Wilson is (and was in 13) than Dilfer.

Dilfer was seriously bad and it was almost a miracle that Baltimore won with him. I know people say, "any QB could have won with that 13 Seahawks team", buts that straight up bullshit. Seattle would have been lucky to be 8-8 with a QB the quality of Dilfer, especially in this day and age where QB effeciency, and particularly turnover margin is everything.

I think he knows very well he's along for the ride (as long as he doesn't screw it up) and is grateful for this last chance for another ring. Everything he says points to that.

Still if you think about it, a Manning/Bronco win will make Trent Dilfer very happy. :D

Kind of want to see Cam Newton become the first player to win the Heisman Trophy, college football championship, NFL MVP, and the Super Bowl. Surprised this has never been done before.

There's still lots of time for Cam to be MVP again and have another SB appearance.
