Browns will release OBJ and then trade for Julio. Cause Cleveland. They were too much of a normal team last year, they need to return to Browns status. I blame the Browns for why the economy collapsed, the senile lunatic and his admin got in office, and for COVID.

"The ball is in Bill Belichick’s court, though, and as of Thursday afternoon, there was little to suggest New England is on the cusp of acquiring Jones despite the abundance of outside chatter."

“I think right now a bunch of teams, including the Patriots, are just sort of looking at this and kicking the tires and seeing what kind of deal can be there,” Bedard said. “So I don’t think anything is imminent, even though this is all people can talk about and ‘Oh, the Patriots are the betting odds favorites to land Julio Jones.’ Like, who gives a crap? Everybody thinks, ‘Oh, the odds. Well, Vegas knows something.’ Nah, they don’t know jack crap.”
We'll see just how hard they are kicking the tires here in a few days. This isn't the same BB we've known for the past two decades.

If it doesn't cost too much I think BB makes this deal. He's all in this season. Also losing JE11 may have BB tire shopping a little more aggressively. One of those I don't need tires today but there is a good sale.

Not a ton of qbs cracked a 4-1 ration.
3-1 isnt bad...especially for a rookie.

but you cant make that argument, then say the pta with cam or a rookie are Fit.Unless jj is on crack and really wants cam tossing him ducks
Three to one isn't good either. Maybe I was spoiled for a couple decades?

Not sure who said JJ wanted to play with Cam? He wouldn't be my first choice.

Rumors say Cam has improved his mechanics? I guess we'll see? Not holding my breath. On a positive note Mac Jones and Rhamondre Stevenson both take care of the ball very well. Less T/Os means more opportunities for a guy like JJ.

Hes not honna get the targets he wants there. Otherwise yes.
That could be said about most if not all the contenders. However, good teams normally get more opportunities than bad teams. He needs to pick his poison.

I think the only way the Chiefs would get this done is if they traded Frank Clark for him. Not a great fit in KC although that offense would be really fun to watch. That said, a reverse Tony G trade would be somewhat amusing.

All signs point to the Patriots right now. I'm just not sure Cam is still the guy the players still think he is.

Tenn apparently no longer in the running?

I could see BB giving up a 1st banking that it will be a late first anyway.

What team should trade for Julio Jones?

Focusing on AFC teams because I think the Falcons ship him to the other Conference.
Julio could fit in all of the above teams. Minus the KC Chiefs. Hell he would be a good fit for all other 15 AFC teams.

" Did You Know: Over the past 25 years, there have been 11 wide receivers traded for at least a first-round pick, and the oldest players of that group at the time of the trade were 28 (Randy Moss, Joey Galloway). Something to consider when factoring in trade compensation in a possible deal for 32-year-old Julio Jones."

Seahawks apparently throwing their hat into the ring to continue their quest of filling a slot that they're already filled at and not having a 1st round pick until 2050.

I actually dont know of a single team where its worth a 1st round pick for Jones at his age. Maybe Indy because they really want Wentz to work and they could really use him.
