You're making yourself look stupid and you clearly don't understand how it works - Go down there and watch how they operate. Thousands of US citizens go through the check points every day in all of the boarder states. They get stopped when it is obvious to them that the driver or passengers are not US citizens - they can tell by the coloration of their sun tan and skin that they are fresh out of Mexico. No one's rights is being violated because the government has the right to regulate interstate commerce.

The checkpoints are much tougher - if they are bitching about the where you first enter from Mexico in Ca, they can search your vehicle for drugs and you can be in deep shit if you get caught. If that's what they are whining about - it's the same everywhere - coming from England into LAX for example you still have to go through customs. They surely aren't so stupid as to think that's a violation of their constitutional rights?

Wrong. When coming from England into LAX you've just come from one country to another. This isn't just to prevent 'terrorists' from coming in but checks for health and safety too. What if somebody had brought back a couple of steaks during the foot & mouth outbreak in the UK?

Checkpoints are within the country and is the equivalent of you walking down the street and having a cop strip search you for no reason whatsoever. Would you be ok with that? You don't think it's a violation of your constitutional rights when an authority figure can pretty much have their way with you because you might have a slight tan or have a different accent to those in your state?

The airport is a different scenario - if the flights are local - than the passengers are not bothered, but coming from England I had to go through customers declare all merchandise purchased and pay duty when owed. It's a safety issue and certain laws applies when entering or leaving a country and not that's not a violation of anyone's constitutional rights. I have no problem with someone being stopped by the boarder patrol and checked out because their sun tan is different. It's constitutional and correct and it is no different then looking for a black man who committed a robbery if that is what the witnesses described. I would think that the boarder patrol were retarded to be looking and examing white males or women when it's grossly obvious that they were not from Mexico
