Game Thread: Week 4: Redskins @ Chiefs

I mean, the Texans should've beaten the Pats and they have a rookie QB.

Chiefs are tough. They are arguably the most talented team in football and maybe the most physical. They've been sloppy, though. My guess is that the Chiefs have about a 60%-65% chance of winning but nothing would surprise me.

A big issue with the Chiefs right now is that they lead the league in penalties.

Whats really sad about that is the Bears and Packers have played 1 more game than they have and its still true. -155 Net Yards after 3 games (Redskins look like they're +69)

Chiefs are also giving up the 2nd most sacks per game. This is kind of where Alex Smith's stats are deceptive. His numbers suggest he is playing out of his mind but he is also 'game managing' by eating a lot of sacks.

I don't think the Chiefs will be as vulnerable to the run as in years past. Last year's team would have me worried about the Redskins rushing attack but I think this game might not be too bad this year.

Redskins are one of the teams I have no clue on just due to what happened with the Raiders. I wouldn't be too shocked if the Redskins limited the Chiefs but I suspect this game might end up being a tale of two halves with one team looking good in one half and the other looking good in the 2nd half.

Here are my quick thoughts on the game. After watching the Chiefs last 2 games, I've notice the Chiefs are 25th in pass def. Wish we had Pryor on track. I like Crowder against Gaines here. Davis also. I don't like our RG here. Chief are okay vs the run.

My Skins are weak against TE's so Kelce should have a monster day. Hunt will have a field day also. Be aware of our pass def. We have been playing better in this area the last 2 games. I am worried about Houston also. Smith doesn't impress me much but he will have chance b/c our best CB doesn't follow the opponents best wr to either side. So look for Hill to hit play dirt here.

was expecting them to look better ... they didnt look like a superbowl contender in that game

True they did not look that good but. They have some weakness as we do also. I wish we had the RG and the pass game clicking. Not sold on our RG just yet so we may be one dimensional.

I believe the Chiefs pass rush, Hunt, Kelce and Hill will have big games. Hope I wrong but Chiefs should win this. Just think the Hunt kid is to much but as always have to play the game first, you never know what may occur especially if the Chiefs play like they did last wk as you mentioned earlier.

I may be wrong but I just can't see CT scoring to continue. Sooner or later the rest of the NFL will figure him out. That' why I wish we was clicking in the RG and PG.

Yeap me to I'm always expecting the worst but always hoping I will be surprised

Hey Sty I am no doubt a JM fan but the 17 carries for 29 yards and a 1.7 yards per carry average is baffling. never seen this type of production before. I know he is better than that.
