After being Ole Miss's recruiting coordinator from 2005-7, then a very successful stint at Arkansas St., then taking Ole Miss to a bowl game last year (after 4-7 and 2-10 seasons the previous years), and with that absolutely beautiful campus (and the girls to go with it), and it being in the SEC... Freeze wouldn't have to be a snake oil salesman to pull in some very good recruits. Can't say I expected him to be pulling them in quite like this, but when the ball gets rolling...

I think that our first Grimes offer is in. We offered David Sharpe out of Jacksonville. He has one hell of an offer sheet and is 6'7". I am on phone but someone can link his 247 profile.

Saw a tweet saying we offered someone in GA today was it Kayton Samuels? I notice he tweeted that his was about to come, referencing someone elses VT offer. Also anyone know more about this kid? His twitter name is Haloti Ngata Jr.?

JC also said that he likes the Hokies, and that Gray was going to go evaluate him, but haven't seen anything yet that he's been offered.

after last years performance under Freeze, followed by the recruiting haul on the last weekend, in state guys are committing early. The handwriting is on the wall, commit early or risk being left out.

Bauer is the first OOS, and the highest rated. So far, they have four 3 stars out of seven players, which is the same way they started out last year. Freeze is another coach known to develop underrated players.

They will likely close it out with a couple or few top 50 players.

Per Jalyn Holmes' twitter, he's visiting Knoxville for the Spring Game on April 20. Also sounds like he doesn't plan to visit VT in the near future.
