Maryland is the early favorite for Jalen Tabor and UNC is the early favorite for Andrew Brown. I should stress VERY early as 2014 is over 2 years from now...

I am sure Tabor probably grew up following Maryland, but that program is going in the wrong direction and the financial matters are going to prevent that school from doing any improvements to facilities and such for a long time.

I still don't get what recruits see in UNC, especially now that the money bags are in the safe. When is the NCAA going to bring the hammer down on UNC? Get it over with already.

Actually Tabor grew up a Miami fan but given the recent hooker and yacht scandal has bumped them down.

I can vouch VT definitely impressed Jamil Kamara and I'd say we are the wayyyy early leader. Andrew Brown was the only non-commit actually cheering for the Hoos. Kinda stinks because he will be a 5-star.

By cheer I should have said not just sitting there with a "man fuck this wack ass school" look.

And Bigesse you are right it is still really, really early. Everything could change.

Well let's hope that is over for Kamara and still early for Brown. We can't have it the same for both since we lead for one! :thumb:

A. Brown made first team All-Tidewater (per pilotonline.com) as a soph. He is must get for this class and may be a top 20 player nationally the way it sounds. He will probably have an offer list a mile long in the next year. At the very least I hope he goes OOS and WhoVA whiffs on him. Have any of you 757 guys had a chance to see him in person?? I know Indian River is a pretty low profile football program in the Chesapeake area (as compared to others).

VT is making progress on Brown from what I've been told. It's important to note Brown started to like UNC when Davis was there and landing 5* DL every year. Things are starting to change. Early thoughts are that he will stay in the area so it's important to beat these 2 teams down on the field and for guys like Gayle and Collins to continue to prove themselves on the field. He's going to have the chance for immediate PT(Gayle and Collins will be gone for his frosh year) and the staff will sell that big time, I think.
