I can buy into the SG rumors, although my gut says it's something much less news worthy. As for Smart to VT, that's not happening. He's more likely to stay at VCU his entire career than end up in Blacksburg, IMO. I did get a nervous laugh out of a VCU fan just now though. Good ole rumor days.

It certainly seems like the assistants knew this a month ago. They certainly played this in a way as to preserve everyone's career. Except that of Greenberg, of course.

Mike Rhoades from VCU could be a candidate. Associate Head Coach there and former Randolph Macon Head Coach (DIII but very successful there)
