Multiple sources now telling me BOTH Rob Ehsan and dir. bball ops Jeff Wulbrun are leaving #Hokies basketball to join new staff at UAB.

From what I've been told, Wulbrun is getting promoted from director of basketball operations w/ #Hokies to full-time assistant at UAB

Coach Seth Greenberg loses Ehsan and Wulbrun to UAB, continuing a troubling trend for VT men's hoops. http://wapo.st/HaHoHd

Will be interesting to see how Greenberg fills Rob Ehsan's spot. He had ties internationally and in DC area that won't be easily replaced

Read on TSL that it is Darrell Johnson, 6'8 PF from St Louis. We are in his final two along with Memphis

That's a better indicator than stars imo, at least for basketball. If you see a kid with offers from traditionally strong basketball schools, that tells me he's good. I'd much rather have a kid like that than a say a 3-star with a couple offers from a BCS level school but are just ho-hum at hoops.

That is good, we need another post player, even if they are a bit undersized. We also need a another 2 guard. I know Greenberg wanted a combo guard (1/2).

I love the part where Thomas is completely shocked he could be fired because of basketball reasons. He's totally delusional. I'm hoping he winds back up with the Knicks in some way. That would be epically hysterical

Seth's top assistant, James Johnson, is leaving for a similar position at Clemson. Surely Weaver would have stepped up and avoided the mass exodus of assistant coaches. Maybe Seth will hire his three daughters for one year and go out in style.

Yep, James Johnson was Seth's #1 guy when it came to recruiting. Unless VT makes the NCAAT next year, I'd be willing to bet Seth won't be back in Blacksburg.
