UCLA crushes ASU....Texas must be better than we think

Texas was UCLA's last game before ASU.
They beat ASU 62-27 and beat Texas 20-17.

I mean it's not really the 'transitive' property, it's the same team from one game to the next, playing away from home both games.

Texas is obviously better than we think.

Or am I wrong??

Didn't see the game, but it makes sense. Lots of teams start to take risks and get reckless as they fall further behind (risky passes that are picked, defense trying to strip ball instead of tackling, etc.), which often results in more points for the opposing team.

I wish David Ash could have played.
But, Texas unfortunately had to take a 3 point loss with our backup.

Some teams you can beat with backups:
Texas beat OU the last time played with a backup.
Texas beat A&M the last game played with a backup.

But, for a team like UCLA, the Horns needed their starter.

Yeah, i'm very curious as well. The south carolina win looked huge, but now not so much. Arky will be a good test for their D line, but they should throw at will on them. LSU sucks, so we might not find out about a&m til they travel to bama.

UCLA put together their preseason hype last night. They played good against an ASU team without it's starting QB.

ASU was a dumpster fire last night and UCLA took advantage of every ASU missed tackle etc.

Not to take anything away from UCLA, they appear to have turned a corner.
