I thought some sort of agreement was reached to change the location of the practice facility to mitigate the amount of trees removed. Are the tree huggers now complaining about the one or two large Oaks that are still in the way?

There was a tree condemned and removed. It's my understanding that this particular tree was deemed at risk to the public or property (per a friend). If that is the case, there was very likely an official assessment (maybe after those big storms in July). It might not have anything at all to do with the practice facility.
