That's fair, his teams won 2 SBs. Take away team accomplishments, who was the better QB?
Marino never won a SB, I'd say he's right there with the best of them, and s whole hell of a lot better than Eli or Romo.
Thats where he doesn't make sense. Going by paper rating makes no sense. Or that puts Palmer over Marino which I think we can agree is asinine. Out of the two Eli has the stronger resume. If I was to pick a cowboy off Romos teams that belongs in the hall. Its Witten without a doubt. Witten. Honestly I think Romo held Dallas back from the super bowl

What Tebow thing? You're bringing up Tebow, not me.

None. Though to be fair, I'm not making the argument that Romo should be in the Hall of Fame, but that Eli should not be in the Hall.

Guess a ghost was throwing Witten all those balls.

Go away, troll. You aren't adding anything substantive to this debate.
Actually you did earlier in regards to the steelers.....

If we are being honest and looking at the full pictures of their careers. Eli definitely has the stronger resume.

I also don't think you're giving Romo too much credit. And not giving Witten nearly enough credit. Witten was the best TE of this era imo. Not many TEs can make the plays he did.

Finally, something that isn't pure trolling. Jason Witten was a top TE of his era, no doubt, but I think Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates have a bit to say about being the best TE's of the era.

Right or wrong those SBs weigh heavily with the HOF. I'll say this, at least there is talk about Romo and the HOF, without the SBs, ELI and HOF wouldn't be on the same sentence.
This two super bowl MVPs will ay heavy too. Wouldnt be surprised to hear Eli and HOF once he retires

Tony G and Witten are 1a and 1 b with gates 3rd imo. Thats actually moocher debatable than Eli and Romo. Eli's numbers are much better than Romos. Without the talent Romo had to work with. And he has two super bowl mvps. Where Romo cost Dallas in the play offs

And once again back to pathetic attempts at trolling. Sad.
Once again ignoring the stats you were provided with. As well as the fact Romo had a TE that ranks with the greats. Along with the offensive weapons to to win. Yet Eli has put up better numbers and succeeded where Romo failed. Do you have any actual data to refute what I provided. Or are we back to passer rating?

Problem is QB wrongfully win the MVP. That is surely the case in at least one of Eli's
Problem with that is whether we think he deserved it or not. Its in the record books and a part of his resume. Which will hold a lot of weight

Well, I like that I'm able to come to my own conclusions on what I've seen, not just on views of others.

Yes. Literally every stat that isn't SB wins.
You realize eli is 6th all time in passing yards and tied for 8th all time with passing TDs. His stats both compare to QB's in the HOF that have not won Super Bowls. Combine his stats with the 2 super bowl wins and MVPs.....

Saying literally every stat holds no meaning without providing stats. But I could see why you would opt to not provide stats. Since Eli is ahead of Romo in every stat except passer rating. Which was boosted by his TE and Wrs......

I'm not a fan of either. But when it comes down to it. When I compare their actual stats, the super bowls and other awards SB MVPs etc... I cant say Manning doesn't have the stronger resume. He compares much closer to the other HOF QBs

Not sure why you keep bringing up resume, I'm simply discussing who was the better QB.

Because we were talking which of the two QB's are more worthy of the HOF. So resume plays a factor in HOF. Super Bowl wins and MVPs put eli further over. As far as better QB I still go Eli. Romo cracked under pressure a little too much imo. Where Eli did more with less

Fair enough, I'm on record I'm OK if Eli makes it on the SBs. My argument was more against Oldschool using the SB to say Eli was the better QB.

I can relate to that. I wouldnt mind if Romo got in. But I wouldnt use passer rating to gauge QB's like megladon either. Passer rating about as relevant as +/- in hockey

Truth Im not sure either get in
Peyton,Brady,Rodgers imo anyone else right now is hit or miss imo

I don't see Romo getting in, Eli is a Manning and with the SB wins, I will be surprised if he doesn't make it.

I think he's borderline Brees may have a shot. But the HOF can be really strange when it comes to their standards. Eli may get in on name it is more like a popularity contest at times imo. One example Tim Brown was a great raiders receiver. But I have no idea how Cliff Branch is not in the HOF. Theres quite a few players who we could say should be in.

You realize you're debating with a guy who's using passer rating as a HOF argument. By that Standard Carson Palmer would be a HOF QB because he had a higher passer rating than Marino. We all know Tebow was a bust. As far as Eli , Romo and actual stats pertaining to HOF. I'll even use Elway an actual HOF Broncos QB

Eli Manning Games 216 ATT 7296 COMP 4424 Yds 51682 TDs 339 INT 228 RATE 83.5
4 pro bowls 2 Super Bowl Championships 2 Super Bowl MVPs

John Elway Games 234 ATT 7250 COMP 4123 Yds 51475 TDs 300 INT 226 RATE 79.9
9 pro bowls 1 NFL MVP 1 Super Bowl Championship 1 Super Bowl MVP

Tony Romo Games 156 ATT 4335 COMP 2829 Yds 34183 TDs 248 INT 117 RATE 97.1
4 pro bowls

Which one is more comparable to the hall of famer ?
lol good poiint
