What's your take on the Boise St. matchup this year?

I don't have a gauge on how that game will go. Falk looked average when Cracraft went down then like straight hot garbage when Marks hurt his ankle against Colorado. He doesn't have either guys this year so if he can get comfortable then they should win. But they should've steam rolled Boise State last year but played a practice so who knows.

Didn't see anyone else post the Pac12 release of the early game kick off times.
Schedule
http://static.pac-12.com.s3.amazonaws.com/sports/football/pdf/2017 Football TV Schedule 3 week.pdf

The first thing that stands out is that west coast 12:30 start times are officially entirely dead. Deceased. Pushing up the daisies. They are no more. :tsk:

And of course it looks like instead of heading our complaints and easing up on the super late night starts, they are doubling down on them and adding a fuck ton more. In the first week of action there are 4 7pm or later starts and in the second week there are 5. Looking down the rest of the schedule at the games filled in here and there most are late night.

Seems we have lost this war and lost it badly. We will never again get exposure for east coast viewers and we are doomed to sitting outside in late november until the wee hours of the morning.

Shocking.

Shocking I tell ya.

That it even made any type of news in Pullman that is. Sounds like a typical weekend on campus to me.

Am I suppose to be upset or embarrassment about that? I threw up on a police officers shoes after a game, it's just what you do over there and hope the cop is having a good day. Now had he given an unwanted golden shower that'd be different.

Question for you Husky fans...

Y'all have any insight on Jake Eldrenkamp?

The Rams brought him in to compete at Center as an UDFA, and I wonder if he could make the 53 man roster or not.

There is not a lot of backup competition at Center in Rams camp, however Kromer has the entire OL cross training at the OL spots, so who knows how the depth chart will look like at Center.

I do think he has a decent chance to make the PS if he doesn't make the cut.

Given the Rams depth issues there, he does stand a chance at making the roster. He was very consistant and reliable for us. Played all over the line were needed. High IQ as well. Had ivy league ofrers, but his family lives in Seattle so decided to stay local.
He'd be best suited as an interior lineman. G or C.
Hope he makes it.

But Im sure the Rams will invite some lineman vets to camp so he'll have to shine to make the final roster.

Projecting offensive line has to be the most difficult of all positions in the jump from college to pros isn't it?

I mean Jake was solid for UW, but the pro game is so much different.

UW doesn't run a pro style offense (but then few in college do these days). You can't really put them into a firm type as it is. They run some spread, some zone blocking schemes, and use a lot of exotic formations. They ask their kids to do a lot of different things from game to game. So all of the linemen have had quite a few things thrown at them in their time in that program. Petersen is known for his 'gimmick' or exotic offensive looks.

It also means you can't completely evaluate them as they might appear in a pro style front. UW spends a lot of time in 2 TE sets and unbalanced/flooded sets. They are asked to do things quite a bit differently than they will at the next level.
