not being a B1G sacksucker, I could care less about the other nine - they were out of it from the getgo.

Here's hoping Oregon goes undefeated, by ugly large margins; that everybody else in the country has at least one loss; and that MSU blows the rest of its opponents out of the park. If Sparty doesn't get to the playoffs?...at least we'll get a rematch with the Ducks next year in E. Lansing.

I don't think MSU is horrendous. I think they are a very good football team that got beat on the road to a team they are totally unfamiliar with.

That said, the B1G is perceived as the worst of the power 5 because of on field results.

I am sure Wisky, Iowa, Nebraska, MSU, and tOSU will look much better when they start playing each other.

The conference proved its worth on the field. And they didn't prove much ooc at all.

The funny thing about this statement is Duck fans are going to claim their win over MSU as one of their highest quality wins of the season.

not really. but if sparty ends up running the table and oregon finishes the season with 1 loss, with or without the pac-12 vrown then based on nonconference results of the season, there's no way michigan state is taking a playoff spot ahead of oregon.

I agree that cfb has been trending towards the better teams being located in the west and south. People have been migrating to the West and to the South for quite some time. It's been said that the Rose Bowl is one of the biggest reasons for the migration West. When you're snowed in in the Midwest and you're watching a parade and football game with clear skies and temps in the mid-70's, it makes for a pretty strong desire to re-locate.

I also think, though, that style of football has a lot to do with it. Many of the Midwestern teams seem to be clinging to the old "Woody Hayes/Bo Schembechler 3 yards and a cloud of dust" football moreso than teams in the West and South. After all, if you're a young, talented player with speed to burn, which style is going to be more attractive? Oregon's or tOSU's?

Based on the recent successes recruiting (if you believe the rankings), tOSU...
