Multiple Title IX complaints which means the Feds can come down hard. NCAA could hand them bowl bans, probation, and scholarship reductions.

Baylor football is totally fubar for years now and why so many 2017 recruits and those from the 2016 class are bailing. It's a total house on fire situation right now. They're going to have to build the entire thing from scratch all over again.

They seem to think the NCAA isn't going to give them any punishment, according to all their forum sites and "insiders" - supposedly their compliance office has been bending over backwards and because they self imposed the NCAA will not stick it to them. Also, the NCAA likes the hiring of Grobe.

Seriously, you can't make this stuff up. They REALLY believe this stuff.

Collis Cobb said that they were initially told that if Parrish still wanted a release following meeting with Grobe, that would happen...

Tonight, however, Collis Cobb said the impression he got is that an appeal would have to be filed with the NLI ...

Well let's be honest. Coach gone. AD gone. Two assistant ADs gone. Chancellor gone. When that kind of house cleaning occurs, they've done most of the NCAAs work for them and the damage is done. Sure there will be lawsuits from title IX to deal with, but the football program is already going to be a disaster for years to come. The NCAA will probably give them a multi year probation, and maybe a couple scholarship reductions, but so much of the house is already burnt to the ground, there isn't much left to do. Baylor football will be a zombie program for years trying to reinvent itself.

The hits keep coming: Prized jewel of the 2016 class Devin Duvernay, by all services an elite WR prospect, will be able to void his NLI due to a filing error by Baylor. He is one of 7 recruits in the 2016 class seeking to get out of their NLI, and by all accounts each should be granted his wish.

I expect him to land at Texas or TCU in short order. All he's waiting on is his brother to get out of Baylor.

How about the other kids? That Patrick Hudson was a high-4* rated kid. I know very little about the kids in the Baylor class.

He's expected to go Texas as well.

Texas can grab 4 of these kids. They're in good shape to take the top 4 outside of maybe Parrish Cobb, who's likely going OU

Yeah this was a hell of a win for UT. I looked at their 2017 class and they're down to one commit. They had better hope Grobe kills it or they can maybe get Singletary.

Baylor only has a few guys anybody wants. The rest of their recruits are average at best.

Patrick Hudson
Parrish Cobb
Devin Duvernay
JP Urquidez
Kam Martin

The rest nobody will really care about.

Coaching won't matter.

Parents are not sending their kids into the environment and culture that created this mess. The coach is almost irrelevant at this point.

It's going to take YEARS to recover from this, if at all.......they ARE Baylor. They have nothing to lean on, no history, no legacy, nothing

Neither one can save it IMO. They've got to make a killer hire to attract the kids. And anyone viewed as a "killer hire" ain't going to take the job.
